What's your Weather like today

We are nominally at 78F now, a sunny day. It was said to reach 87, but then that got revised down to 84. Still smoke haze though, but at least no air quality alerts here. Of course 80 miles west they have the alerts so we'll just await upper wind shifts.

I got half my mowing done again and the mower battery is on its last recharge of the day from solar panels. By 4 PM or so I'll be too shaded to charge again, and I'm hot enough already anyway. I might still do a little more since tomorrow shows rain and thunderstorms. I can always top-up after that from stored power, since almost all of my batteries are at 100% right now including the 2KWh Big Guy.

Rain.... About a 1/2 inch fo rain overnight and predicted to continue for several days. So far the clouds and rain keep the night time temperatures above 40 F.
We’ve been getting storms for the past two days. I think we’ve gotten about 2-5 inches so far.

Sunny almost all day. Our first day to reach 70 F./21 C. Our big greenhouse hit 102 F./39 C. I walked from Alaska into South Georgia (as I remember when I lived there), and back into Alaska when I went out the door:). I started a third fan and it went down 96 F.

Light overcast, supposed to sprinkle but thunderstorms have still been forecast. High about 80F.

Right now more like 65F but dry (the sprinkles missed us here) so I got more mowing done once people here got up and around. My mower is quiet but not so quiet that I want to risk intruding on anyone's sleep.

71F at 1:30 PM, it's been a sunny day with decent breeze. Most of the yard has plenty of moisture... except for one of the areas I had spread new shady-area grass seed. The trees seem to keep light rains from reaching the ground. Maybe I live in a rain forest and never realized it?

It's been light on the skeeters lately though, so that says something about the state of dampness (or otherwise). I really need to take more advantage of the sunny days. Maybe sit out in the shade with my legs out in the sun? I don't want to be hot or get overexposed.

We've risen from 63F to 72F by 9:15AM, headed toward 87F.

Chance of showers from 11:00AM to 5:00PM, then chance of showers and thunderstorms. About 20% chance though.

Hazy mostly sunny now, so I'm storing some solar power to use for the next few days.

Thunderstorms right now, with a small and localized tornado warning just southeast of me. Unsettled pattern with rain and storms coming and going for a while. No damage reports that I have heard, but I'm keeping live coverage going on my 2nd monitor right now.

A beautiful sunny day with a high around 75 F. Supposed to be even better tomorrow. Downside is that 37 wildfires started today, bringing the total ongoing fires to 71. We will start watering stuff tomorrow.

Soggy here for a change, and despite the thunderstorms that popped up and high winds that rolled through from time to time we had few tornados in lower Michigan last night... even though there were a couple small ones they were short-lived.

So 65F and quite humid. This weekend though we expect quite high humidity and high temps in the mid-90s. Today the expected high is near 75F due to clouds.

Weird. Still soggy with a drizzle on and off, still expecting to hit 75F, but now temps have fallen to 60F which I hadn't expected.

Taking advantage of this to cool the place down despite the moisture. I figure at some point during off-peak power I'll run the A/C to dehumidify a bit. A cooler "reservoir" of a house means when things really heat up into the 90s soon I won't use a lot of A/C. I can run the central heating fan to circulate cool basement temps up into the house.

No A/C here, but the same insulation that keeps us warm in winter keeps the house cool if we close it up. It is expected to get to 78-80 F. today, which is quite hot for this location.
