What's for Supper?

Braised pork chops, long grain brown rice with minced garlic and fresh chopped parsley, navy beans, and roasted carrots with fresh thyme.

I can just go down all the meals with a thumbs up. Everything sounds yummy.
I have almost half a steer made into hamburger so we eat a LOT of that this year. Often I cook up half a tube of burgers which we eat through the day with whatever sides we like. Tonite I had open faced with raw onion on ezekiel bread. Hubby will probably have a sweet potato with his and frozen veggies.

Braised seasoned cubed beef, black-eyed peas, carrots, and garlic brown rice.

*We eat alot of long grain brown rice and an assortment of prepared dry beans. It helps to lower your cholesterol.*

I know it's breakfast time in your house but it's dinner time in mine. I'm having Hamburger Gravy over Baby Red Squished Taters (so named by my youngest son when he was three), Fresh Biscuits, and an iced cold glass of Moo. Then for dessert I'm having a Dunkin' Donuts Apple Fritter, chilled to perfection. Yeah, I may be a Retired Hippie Guitar Player, but I can eat like an Alabama Redneck too... Yummy!

That was good... But the Apple Fritter was great. The only thing stopping me from going to get another one is the 12 miles each way and the $3.78 a gallon for gas. Granted that is about 30¢ a gallon less than my last fill up, but unless I'm already going past Dunkin', no Apple Fritters...

Edit: Missing words (I hate it when I do that.)

What about Frucky Fried Chicken? by my three year old daughter.

That reminds me of my niece when she was three. We were having a family pignic (that's a pig out picnic) and a fire truck went by. She started jumping up and down yelling "Fire F***! Fire F***!" 👨‍🚒

I like KFC, but it's just too expensive now days.

Before the pandemic Cindy and I used to go get a bucket of chicken and drive out to Samoa Beach. There was a small parking lot overlooking the Pacific, and would go there and sit in the car and eat while watching and listening to the waves crashing on the beach. But then it go to the point that it was cost $40 or so to do that. So we started going to Little Caesar's and getting a pizza instead. Whatever we bought to eat, we never stopped going to that spot the beach.

That is one of the things that i really miss, too, @Axel Slingerland . Back when I lived in Western Washington, it was easy to drive to the beach and be able to listen to the waves and wade in the ocean. It was a 2 hour drive from where I lived, so not something to just do for dinner, like you and Cindy were able to do, but still one of the best places to spend time.
I used to go to Aberdeen, and then out to Ocean Shores.
