There is a small building that has been empty for several years, and now they just opened it as a Mexican restaurant, and it is just down the street from where we live; so today we went to try it out.
It is a friendly little place, and the food was good, and we enjoyed our dinner. I had something called a Guarche, which is kind of a fried thick tortilla with beans, meat, lettuce and guacamole on top. The tortilla part was kind of tough, so I just ate the top part along with my chips and salsa, and that was really good.
Bobby ordered the carne asada, which is one of his favorites, and he enjoyed his dinner, too. It is great to have a restaurant that close to where we live, so I hope they are able to stay open.
