Went outside to move the gathered leaves out to the curb for pickup, and scoop my front yard apple drops up to throw on top.
I found two more "clean" drops with no wormholes that neither deer nor wasp had found before me.
These are so good, better than the store-bought Fujis I have just washed the other day. Every year about this time I think "If only I sprayed! Just think of the apples I'd have and be able to give away to neighbors and passersby."
Fresh tart sweet crispy apples are really good. I'll bet they'd make a great cider too.
