When I was a kid, most of the Saturday matinee’s were westerns, and so my favorite actors were Audie Murphy, James Stewart, Jeff Chandler, and Randolph Scott.
This was always one of my favorite movies back then.
I agree with you there. Hollywood has had writers block off and on for decades. Specially when they try (and typically fail miserably) to improve on classic films or TV shows. Some are good, but most of them are so bad they're insulting to the original crews who made them.I like all kinds of movies, in all eras, I don't think they are improving though.
