Like most people I have more than one favorite, However, the one that came to mind, I have seen a few times, but not recently. It's "Meet John Doe".

When I was a kid, most of the Saturday matinee’s were westerns, and so my favorite actors were Audie Murphy, James Stewart, Jeff Chandler, and Randolph Scott.
This was always one of my favorite movies back then.

Once Upon a Time in America 1984
Robert De Niro and James Woods, directed by Sergio Leone

Only the long version (3:49). The trimmed version (2:09) for American audiences was awful.

How they ruined a masterpiece...
