What's your Weather like today

Beautiful sunny and warm. Nice Florida weather, but the bugs need to go!
@Don Alaska had me thinking I had Lymm disease ,lol. So I was having all kinds of symptoms. Wasn't about to go online and read about it, then I'd be bedridden with the stuff.
At least he woke me up tyo the fact that I do need to be prepared and protected from the little buggers.

More light snow overnight and the temp is still below freezing. Nothing else of note happening other thna that pesky volcano to the west is acting up. Anchorage TV stations started broadcasting advice as to how to prepare for an eruption and to expect flight delays if it blows. It will be a nuisance and make a mess of things if it goes, and we will be back in pesky masks, but for a good reason this time:)

A bit of rain in the early morning hours before sunrise, then things cleared and we're sunny with lot of gusting, sometimes high. Very warm, approaching 75 F.

A couple inches of new snow. Strange weather for this time of year. We usually have several feet of that on the ground and this year very little.

We have had sunshine today but it has been quite chilly. I won't be sad to see the back of winter this year.

We had some cloud today but the sun did manage to make an appearance a few times. We are forecast light rain over night.

Right now, it's 56º and looking out the window, it looks warm. But the air has a chill to it. I went out to fill the bird feeder thinking it was warm. It was cold!

This week has been weird. Wednesday was super windy. Thursday rain than snow from the north. Friday was glorious and in the 50'sF. Today it is cold and windy. Obviously it is spring and can't make up it's mind but at least the days are brighter and longer.

It's going to be 18c with sun but cloudy as well with 15 mph winds, should feel okay for early spring.
On my refrigerator, I have a chart of measurements for cooking with wet and dry ingredients--liters, quarts, ml, cups...
I bought a new thermometer and put it outside. The F scale is huge! but I can read the Celsius numbers from here.

We are finishing up what has been a cold and windy week, but that Somme’s pretty normal for march weather. It looks like some rain over the weekend, and then warmer weather next week, with some days into the 70’s here again.
By next month, Bobby will probably be getting the little back yard swimming pool ready for us to float around in this summer.

I like Fahrenheit temps for outside weather, but Celsius for almost everything else. When I was a weatherman, we transmitted the temperatures in both scales and I could convert in my head. I am old now and have lost that ability.:( About 40 F./ 4.5 C. here and cloudy. It was supposed to snow last night but did not. The weekend is supposed to be warm and sunny. It was 88 F./31 C. in my little greenhouse yesterday. We have weather here controlled by the winds and two great masses--Siberia to our west and the Pacific to our south. It all depends on which way the wind is blowing. There are also mountains everywhere that control the winds onshore. When my brother-in-law visited last year, he was amazed at how close the mountains are. He had seen pictures, but was taken unaware when his sister started a snowball fight with him in the mountain pass in July.:)
