The Allman Brothers Band Live at CalExpo 1991. Great show...

I'm listening to the CD, this is one of the best tracks on it. I have no idea why whoever made it chose that early band photo for the cover. That isn't the band on the CD, as Duane Allman and Berry Oakley, Rest In Peace, are not there. The band's lineup in 1991 included Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Warren Haynes, Allen Woody, Butch Trucks, Jaimoe, and Marc Quiñones. And the band logo is taken from a 1979 album called Enlightened Rogues, which also doesn't go with the photo.

The TV series Smallville head a lot of heart, and was a worthy entry in the Superman mythos, carrying forward much that Christopher Reeves' performance brought to the role. It also featured some great tunes.

Here Clark Kent approaches his late teens. He has met a young boy Ryan, who had been coerced into enabling a long series of crimes by some adults. Ryan can read most peoples' thoughts and emotions.

Even though Clark freed him, and he and his family had managed to find him good foster parents... Ryan's gift was due to a fatal brain tumor. Here Clark and Ryan have a final goodbye, and Clark contemplates moving forward with his own life now.

I was listening to my son snore while I was staring at the ceiling. Again... Oh well. I'm going to get him up at 8:00a so we can go to the bank and do some shopping at Costco before it get too hot. It's supposed to be 104° today. Hopefully after that I can get some sleep.

Don't remember that one, this is the only instrumental I know of theirs.
