I'm not sure how many people realize how much we take for granted now came out of seized German WW II technology.

Les Paul pioneered the use of the electric guitar and established sound-on-sound music production techniques. Both of these came out of technological spoils of war.

This video has two performers doing 26 parts in total built upon Ampex multi-track tape recorders very similar to the devices obtained at the end of hostilities. It was a purposely exaggerated example to make a point after criticism by their competition trying to sour the public on their work as "faked" and "artificial." Of course nearly all popular music recording quickly began making use of the same production technology, as it still does today.
