Day 3 and I have more lumps and bumps than a damn golf ball ! Trying not to rub them but it's making me sick at my stomach.

I'm more bugged by these invasive Chinese stinkbugs:

Must have killed 20 so far this September. Hate to think how many sneaked indoors.
Well my 20 or so represents a very light infestation this time around. We seem to get them twice a year, and enough get inside that I use a portable vacuum cleaner to catch stinkbugs on drapery and window sills.
I have tried making "light traps" that lure them down funnels into water. No luck there.
Move up here @Marie Mallory. we are bug-free for 8 months a year.My first itch free day in almost week. Hoora.
Now I'm afraid to go into the woods for my tree saving therapy.
What Jake or I don't understand is how he can lay on the frass and walk around in it and seldom any bug attacks!
The knats do like us equally though.

Terro works on most sweet eating ants that will take it back to the nest. It is boron based so won't hurt pets. This has been a TERRIBLE year for us for bugs as well, but mainly the cockroaches seemed to be out in huge numbers. Since we have an old house, they can find plenty of small openings to get in, or if we left the door open.
The big ones, called water bugs, were always in the bathroom at night. Bobby got rid of most of the ant piles, but we still have some tiny ones showing up on the front porch and do not know where their nest is at.
Now, we are getting the stink bugs here, too, which seems to be a fall happening, around the same time as the mosquitoes are slowing down. It has also been a bad year for rats and mice because we have open fields around us, and lots of places for vermin to hide. Having the stray cats has helped a lot with the rat and squirrel situation though.
I accidentally vacuum up a live stink bug once in a while. Then it stinks up the whole room from the exhaust of the vacuum.Well my 20 or so represents a very light infestation this time around. They have to be alive and healthy. Not dead or dormant. One will always get on the top of the lamp shade and go round and round until it dies. It's rather sad in a way.Nancy, we vacuumed so many but haven't smelled any odor yet, wonder if these are a different kind?
