These Bugs Making Me CRAZY!

I'm more bugged by these invasive Chinese stinkbugs:

Must have killed 20 so far this September. Hate to think how many sneaked indoors.

We have for first time in my life a Stink Bug invasion here too, hundreds all outside screen porch, many get in thru screens dogs put hole in going thru.
Jake has been vacuuming ,spraying ,etc them.
Knat's, spiders and of course chiggars' now lady bugs are showing up.

Well my 20 or so represents a very light infestation this time around. We seem to get them twice a year, and enough get inside that I use a portable vacuum cleaner to catch stinkbugs on drapery and window sills.

I have tried making "light traps" that lure them down funnels into water. No luck there.

20 or so? We had that in one single pile of the stinkers. I've never seen one here until now, much less 1000s and if you add em up past week its 1000's.

This has been a TERRIBLE year for us for bugs as well, but mainly the cockroaches seemed to be out in huge numbers. Since we have an old house, they can find plenty of small openings to get in, or if we left the door open.
The big ones, called water bugs, were always in the bathroom at night. Bobby got rid of most of the ant piles, but we still have some tiny ones showing up on the front porch and do not know where their nest is at.

Now, we are getting the stink bugs here, too, which seems to be a fall happening, around the same time as the mosquitoes are slowing down. It has also been a bad year for rats and mice because we have open fields around us, and lots of places for vermin to hide. Having the stray cats has helped a lot with the rat and squirrel situation though.

I cleared some Mexican Petunias from the side of house yesterday, plus cleared a few vines.
This time they got the top part of my body too, although it was my ankles and upper legs and underarms that were the worse.
I had the worse itch or at least a contender, of my life, I itched so bad I was terribly sick at my stomach.
Up applying 3 salves till 530 am.
I honestly was about to wake Jake and tell him to take me to the ER.I hate these chiggars.

My first itch free day in almost week. Hoora.
Now I'm afraid to go into the woods for my tree saving therapy.
What Jake or I don't understand is how he can lay on the grass and walk around in it and seldom any bug attacks!
The knats do like us equally though.

Terro works on most sweet eating ants that will take it back to the nest. It is boron based so won't hurt pets.

I accidentally vacuum up a live stink bug once in a while. Then it stinks up the whole room from the exhaust of the vacuum. :)

I believe the midges ("no-see-um" gnats) are still active in the South. The days I raked and bagged leaves were very warm. I swear they were buzzing around my ears, but I thought they were gone for the season. Ended up with several bites around the neck. Maybe they were in the leaves keeping warm. lol
