Most of us are interested in health, and I think that a lot of people everywhere are becoming more health conscious, whatever their age and whereever they live.
Plus, there are related things , like health issues and doctor visits, and exercising to stay healthy.
So, a section related to health would probably get some good threads.

@Smithy It isn't needed so much now, but planning for the future, a Roll Call might be good with subsections for RIP and MIA. With us oldies but goodies, on board, this section may get more use than any of us want to see, but such is life.

News and Happenings is currently in Entertainment under Media. While that makes sense in a way I’ll suggest that it be in a more visible spot. Could it be a section under General Headquarters, please? Then a new thread would be more visible.

A Cat thread is always popular, along with Pets. In Senior Forums we have a "Catitude" thread, where cats rule.🐈

I have a railroad thread with videos of real trains: "All the live long day" in SF.
I also had a "Model Citizens" thread on model trains, also videos in SOC.

Ok, I read them. They look pretty reasonable to me. I didn’t see that politics are forbidden but I would assume that civil conversation would be required if political discussion is allowed.

I think some strict moderating will be needed if there is a political thread. Maybe Smithy would have to add a rule about name calling. Political discussions can get really nasty.

Please don't treat us like children, unless we act like them. Politics is too vague a subject to ban. If you do, you get the trolling tattle-tales who go around looking for something to report about someone they don't like for some other reason. And everyone is walking around on eggshells. It's why I left SF.

I will add a political board section see how it goes.

I will add the section shortly.

I’m withdrawing my request for news and my comments about a political section.

I already have memberships where I participate in news and political topics. They are very busy, well moderated and civil and where I spend most of my online time.

This place should just be whatever Smitty wants it to be. He has been a very gracious host. :)

Oops, I see we cross posted but I’m going to leave my comments anyway.
