How many seed catalogs do you get and how many, if any, do you order from? I receive dozens, but only order from 4 or 5. My favorite is Johnny's in Maine, but they are expensive. They provide the most complete information on their seeds and were the only company who maintained seed quality through Covid that I ordered from, although the data suffered somewhat. I also order from Seeds and Such, Pinetree, Territorial, High Mowing, Seed Savers, And Baker Creek. I once ordered from many others. such as Stokes, Vesey's, and Thompson and Morgan. The last wo have dropped off my list as I cannot order tomato and pepper seeds from them any more due to import restrictions. Stokes now only serves large farmers, and, while I am not large, I could still qualify if I only ordered from them which I refuse to do. Stokes offers very high quality seeds ( or did when I last used them) virtually all their seeds are treated with fungicide. Some of you in the U.S. could buy from Gurney's, Farmer's, etc., but they don't ship to Alaska last time I checked. We ordered from some different companies when we lived in warmer climes.
Anybody have favorites? I would be interested in any that gardeners form outside the U.S. know about as well.
