Also Ironically again, the Democrats gave Trump the power to go into states and cities without the governor's consent because they made such a fuss about George Bush not forging ahead into New Orleans when the governor did not request help after Katrina made landfall. Prior to Katrina, the Federal government had to have the permission of the governor of the state to intervene, but that requirement was removed after Katrina. Notice that the Biden Administration did not respond in force when the storms hit the Carolinas and Tennessee, and the media made no fuss about that at all even though it was much worse than Katrina. Democrat President, so the rules are different as well as the standards to which they are held.

My daughter works very hard. She has no health insurance. Under obamacare, she was forced to pay a penalty because she was just over the income limit to free healthcare and could not afford the monthly payments and then to cover the huge deductables.
But illegals will get it for free. Democrats want to keep this. Trump is not allowing it.
The deadlocks in this country have been around a long time and it has been because of other than the legislature pulling the strings. Special interests, kickbacks, corruption...Congress does not write the laws nor does it even read the laws.
I asked my Congressman at a town meeting if he had even read obamacare, of which he had a HUGE copy, and he said, "No. If I had to read laws like this, I would not have time for anything else." What else is the legislators' job than to work on the laws? He 'retired'.
Pelosi said they had to pass the law to find out what is in it. She is the richest of our government employees.
Someone has to take the reins for a bit to end corruption and fix the country. If Trump does it, the Democrats will need to change how they do things to stay in. If Trump gets most of what he ran on done, Republicans will win again. But the fighting is destroying the country. And the pushback is mostly by those who will lose the most.

And just like Shadowman said about evidence of crowd funding, if you have any proof whatsoever that the government was shut down, solely based on anything the Democrats tried to do, I'd like to see it.

It is the republicans who are voting over and over, plus a few of the Democrats, to open the government. The Senate has to have 60 votes to pass the new budget, so if all 50 republicans vote yes to open the government, they still need at least 10 of the Democrats to vote to open it for it to pass.
Even when they tried to vote on separate bills just to fund the military and government workers with their paycheck, the Democrats voted against doing that, and they are now also voting against providing money for the SNAP assistance program as well.
This has nothing to do with tax breaks for millionaires, it is about the liberals not receiving their money from the pharma companies if they agree to the new budget.
They have been on the news saying that this is why they can’t vote for opening the government.

The crowdfunding is a completely different subject, and that has to do with the Antifa rioters being funded. There has been evidence of that as well, but you might have missed seeing it.
There are pictures and videos of the rioters being supplied with big vans of stuff, and u-haul trucks just yesterday, and there are also many videos of the big busses that take the rioters from place to place .
These same people have been complaining on TikTok that they will have to find another way to make money if the riots are stopped and they are not getting paid for being there and protesting.

Plus anything Trump tried to do was blocked by Democrats and RINOs. Adam Schiff has now been exposed by one of his own staff members for deliberately leaking classified information to the press then lying about doing it--two separate federal felonies if convicted. The trial reportedly may be in Florida as part of a conspiracy trial around the raid at Mar Lago and other operations--Crossfire Hurricane.

Most of the so-called demonstrators I saw interviewed didn't know any more than Shadowman does. If he were a king or a despot, those demonstrations wouldn't have occurred. Apparently most of them didn't know what the word Fascist meant either.

The Republicans in the Senate are bringing up bill after bill to 1) Pay Federal workers, 2) Pay SNAP benefits, 3) Pay WIC 4) Pay the U.S. military, The Democrats in the Senate vote against every bill. Hakeem Jeffries says these are "Gotcha" bills, but the question is who is being gotten? Friendly media outlets like CNN, CNBC, and even MSNBC are beginning to turn against the Democrat position.

There are threats against both Schumer and Jeffries by possible primary opponents, and the Republicans are getting lots of fodder to feed into the commercials next year when opposing Democrat candidates

Ironic. The Democrats have long accused their opposition of doing exactly what they are doing politically, and, due to the naïve ignorance of the American electorate, often gotten away with it. I don't know how much the media will get away with trying to spin that as Donald Trump's fault. It has to be more obvious every day who the bad guys are in this and how they try to inflict and use the pain of people as leverage to gain power.

I think the Democrats have dug themselves a hole that they now cannot figure out how to get out of. I think a couple Democrat Senators broke ranks and joined Fetterman and others in trying to fund essential workers and SNAP, but it was not quite enough to break the deadlock. I know there are some who are pushing Majority Leader Thune to eliminate the filibuster on budget items as the Democrats did with judicial nominees when they had power. It would only take a majority vote to do that and it would probably ensure that neither party could ever do this again unless they had the majority in the Senate.

Have the Republicans dropped cancelling medicaid or drastically increasing the cost of Premiums? As far as I know, they have not. And that is what the Democrats do not and never will agree with.

They did not vote against that, they voted against the way they were claiming the were going to pay for it.

That is exactly what it's all about. Elon Musk, Larry Ellison, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos and Larry Page have nearly all the wealth in this country. And they do not pay their fair share of taxes like we all have to do. How much more do they want?

I still don't see it. If there is evidence, what is it? Call me an odd ball if you like, but if I say that there is evidence of something, I always say what it is. People on both sides say the opposing party pays people to go to rallies, as of yet there is very little evidence to support those claims. And until there is actual evidence, I don't even bring it up because there is nothing to talk about.

And for the record, yes, the Antifa people are Extremist Democrats, just like the MAGA people are Extremist Republicans. What's the difference? Their associated political parties.
