Freebies or not, where they can vote (they can't vote in California), that is exactly what they will do.

To register to vote in California, you must be:​

His approval rating is now higher than either Bush II or Obama at the same time in their terms despite of a relentless attack by the media. That was the original Democrat plan just as the Schumer-Jeffries meme indicated. I don't know how it will all work out, but so far, it appears that Trump has turned the Democrat plan back on them. Schumer has said off camera that he wants to keep things shutdown until after the "No Kings" march on the 18th (I think). It is so sad that American politics have sunk so low.

Conservative commentators are now remarking that Trump has finally found a way to shut up the Squad. After months of screaming about "We need a cease fire", when one is imposed, they have gone a bit quiet. Now some are remarking that "it is only a cease-fire, not a peace deal", but since the hostages and prisoners ...and corpses on both sides are being exchanged, it appears to be more than just a cease-fire. Biden is making remarks implying that he did the background and Trump finished the deal. This coming from a President who often couldn't find his way off the stage. Trump flew from Washington, D.D., to Israel, met with hostages and their families, gave two speeches, then flew to Cairo and met with Egyptian leadership, signed the accord and spoke there, then had a meeting with the Pakistani President about the conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan, then flew back to D.C., all in about 24 hours. No President has ever done such a thing. He is working on solving the Pakistani-Afghan war next, and again with no help from the United Nations, whose job it is supposed to be to bring peace.

Trump was right, though, at the State of the Union address that nothing he will do will get applause or even a thumbs up from the Democrats. How can almost half our nation not see that Trump is exactly what was/is needed. When he gets the time he may be able to prove that the 2020 election was stolen and finally find justice for us against those responsible for the corruption in this country. Now, we have all of these foreign truck drivers here who can’t even speak English or read road signs, and the not only have the CDL drivers license for voter ID, but it also has the star in the corner for the new STAR ID, so they did not even have to go through lines to fly or any of those things that the STAR ID is supposed to be a permit for doing.

So, they obviously can use their license as an ID to vote, even though they are not an American citizen, and have no intention of ever becoming one. This is another thing that President Trump will probably be addressing very soon, since we are already stopping these people from driving the semi’s across the country, and sending them back home once we find them if they are not here legally.

In California, the poll workers are not allowed to ask for identification of any kind per an executive order from the governor. All they need to do is find a person recently deceased that is still on the voter rolls since they never clean those rolls and literally anyone can vote in that state. At one point, one of my sons found he was on the voter rolls in three different state because they never clear the voter rolls and even when he requested to be removed they did not remove him from the rolls in two Blue states.

There is now an alleged scandal in California surrounding the election to redistrict the state. Some are alleging that the mail-in ballots have holes punched in the envelopes over the "NO" option. Not all envelopes are showing this, but a large percentage have these holes. The allegation is that if the holes expose a dark spot, i.e., a "NO" vote, those envelopes can be "lost" before they are even opened. I hav weno idea whether there is any truth to these allegations, but a number of people in California believe it is so.

It appears that this is happening, @Don Alaska . People who have received these envelopes have been posting photos of them on social media, and it definitely has a small hole right where the votes would show through from inside the envelope.

I'm having a hard time understanding why we have to dance around the irregularities in the voting process, dotting every "i" and crossing every "t" and having that notarized by large panels of media figures. Doubts about it are more than doubts, since every time a light is shined in a corner the rats and roaches are seen scurrying for the darkness.

It's obviously a game of attrition, attempting to wear people down through obfuscation couched in legalese and claims of "unfairness."

Why is the burden of proof always on one side? Besides, even if there is a doubt about the voting process shouldn't that be alarming enough to justify action?

How patient can people be expected to remain? I sure hope things don't get ugly, but as this (and so much else) continues and even deepens it gets harder for people to remain calm.

As a teen, the 1950s were already a "distant" era for me. It was hard to comprehend how McCarthyism and anti-Soviet sentiment had been so strong. This past decade makes me think that people at the time felt they'd simply been pushed too far. However, as far as I know, even then people weren't seeing the levels of urban violence by the opposition we are seeing go on for months and months today.

I think I have posted before that a so-called election expert during an interview years ago stated that during his studies, every time a computer was involved in the voting process or the ballots were moved, there was some degree of vote fraud. I saw it here a numbers of years ago when a local TV station noticed that more voters had voted in some locations than were registered there. Since it went over the air, an immediate investigation was initiated and it was found that a so-called "test run" of the vote counting machines had been included in the actual count by "mistake". The large majority of "test voters" were for the Democrat candidates and when those votes were removed it definitely changed the results.

Anyway, the "expert" said the only state at that time that didn't have final result voter fraud was North Carolina since according to him at that time all votes were retained at the polling places until the elections were certified, so, while the initial counts could be fraudulent, any recounts would be valid. There was a paper trail of all votes cast at that time. Of course, that was before mail-in ballots, ballots being sent to non-resident voters, and extended early voting with unattended drop boxes. I just assume from his old data that vote fraud must be very widespread now.

Oh my! Trump has supposedly found Pentagon research funds that have already been allocated which he can move to payroll to make sure that American Armed Forces will be paid on time. Believe ti or not, the Democrats are now pondering taking Trump to court now to stop him from doing that. How do you think it will appear to the American populace if the Dems take Trump to court to prevent him from paying the American military? It is absolutely incredible that they could be so politically stupid, We'll see what happens. Trump is also preparing a list of programs and departments that he will eliminate form the government permanently that will be released on Friday if the government does not reopen. That would preempt the Schumer-Jeffries plan to keep the government shut down until at least Sunday so they can speak at the No More Kings rally in Washington, D.C.

Now that Antifa is labeled a terrorist organization, Soros and their other funders will be taken down, maybe providing more money to our coffers to lessen our debt even more than Trump has gotten so far with tariffs, so Antifa will not have the will to fight without getting paid.
The millions of illegals coming in have been stopped, stopping more payments in freebies that have already been paid from taxpayers' money (Uhmmmm No taxation without representation? I did not want my money spent in a lot of ways this corrupt government has been spending it. It has only recently come to light.)
But ICE is finding the illegal criminals and also children that have been trafficked and sold as sex slaves. This I want my money spent on.
USAID has been stopped so insane amounts of money won't be going to insane things under the cover of a few maybe good things.
And now, with the government shutdown, Trump can fire the unnecessary government employees that were used by the Biden administration to pad the employment numbers to show how well he was doing (paid with more tax money) .
Did we see Biden doing anything of similar magnitude (more than sitting at the beach)?

Not the same citizenry as 60 years or so ago. The conservatives today are more like the democrats then. Only more so.
