Thats the way it is now, wish I was as good figuring out this crossword puzzle as I am all these crimes and criminal's.:)
 
As the investigation unfolds, there appears to be a network behind the assassination. At least twenty people were aware of the assassination attempt. The men initially detained after the shot was fired are reported to be "distractions" and acted in a way to attract the attention of law enforcement and security in order to allow the shooter to escape. At least the older man hoped to be shot by law enforcement, but that did not happen. There now appears to be a large network of people connected via internet who are planning and supporting similar actions, mostly against Trump and any who support him. There are "rumors" of Cuban and Chinese connections in the financing of such acts.
 
This just gets more confusing each day as different information comes out. Now, they are showing what is purported to be text messaging between the suspected shooter and his boy/girl friend. It does not read like something that 22 year olds would write at all, the style is all wrong, and looks more like words we (as a senior) would use, as far as complete sentences and punctuation, stuff like that. Most of the texts from young people are more like abbreviated words and phrases, and not actual sentences.

The first guy they arrested, who said he did the shooting, was also in the news at the 9/11/2001 twin towers attack, as well as the marathon bombing. He is now also charged with having child pornography, besides the charges of obstruction from the shooting. It seems like almost everything about this event is being questioned, with several possible answers about what actually happened, and how it happened.

The scene was completely destroyed before police arrived, it never was an actual crime scene, and there were no ambulances or paramedics at the rally at all. No blood where a shooting should have left blood, apparently, and the body (with it looking like Charlie is holding his head up) is carried out to a black vehicle and no ambulance is even called or treatment to stop the bleeding.

It in some ways reminds me of the JFK shooting, and whether Lee Harvey Oswald actually did shoot Kennedy, or whether he was sent there to shoot and be the “patsy” for whomever did actually kill the President, and even after all these years, no one really knows that answer for sure either.

My guess is he dictated the text messages. Don't they have apps that transcribe voice into text messages? And some probably rephrase it. Besides the video is not showing the exact transcript released. The official one is a little different.

As far as the gun, I thought they said he threw it off the roof and picked it up when he jumped down.

The gun being in a box could be the way they transport evidence from a crime scene.

We may never know the truth about this poor mans murder.
It could be more political than we know, maybe some were worried about him running for office even president in a few years? He would have been old enough and with all his fans he would have a good chance at winning.
Then too who would benefit from taking over the multimillion-dollar organization , 'close to a billion' once he was out of the picture?
IMO we will never know.
He wasn't dead but a few days before his wife was campaigning for an even bigger following, while forgetting to blow her nose with a tissue instead of hand. I do know she loved him but was heavily influenced by the Out House. They jumped on her like white on rice. Of course it could be they really cared for Charlie is why they sent AirForce 2 so quick.
I trust none of them and why should I? Every four year's we have elections and the nation keeps getting worse no matter who gets in.
This sure isn't the nation I knew anymore, but then all empires eventually fall.
 
I had been hopeful of late, and I'm still holding on. But lately I am less certain what I'm holding on for:

Perhaps I'm overreacting, but starting this year immigrants who had seemed to be integrating have now turned away toward factionalism and ghettoization instead.

Hard to tell. No doubt Israel would like to stop the criticism, but just as this guy says there is no proof of the connection to the shooter, there is no proof (other than rumors) that Netanyahu made offers of bribery. I think perhaps the entire thing is clickbait that is designed to appeal to Right Wing conspiracy theorists.

It is an assassination, not merely a murder, because it allegedly was done for political purposes.
 
I don't know enough to support or not support the videos. I have seen many a guy make a cold 200-yard shot and hit an animal exactly where they were aiming, sometimes off-hand and almost as a reflex. I am not one of those who is capable of that however. I initially heard it was a 7.62 Mauser that was the weapon. The sniper said it was a 30.06, but I don't think Mauser made a weapon in that caliber. The shooter claimed it was his grandfather's rifle, so it would have been an older model. I know there are now claims that Robinson had links to Antifa, and that may be where he got training. One sniper shortly after the incident opined that the shooter was going for a head shot and shot low, perhaps due to a cold barrel or the fact that he was shooting at a downward angle.

If there are any on here who have credentials to comment, it would be good to hear from them.

Mauser makes a 30-06 bolt action. 7.62 is the same diameter bullet as a .30 caliber. There is both a 7.62×51 and a 7.62×39. The 30-06 has a larger brass casing than many cartridges thus the room to write on it. For years I used a 30-06 semi-automatic for Deer Hunting; now I use a bolt action .243. The suspect in the Kirk shooting according to the articles had shooting experience with his father and family.
 
Today is the day that they are having the public memorial for the death of Charlie Kirk. They apparently have a lot of good security there, but it is still a worrisome thing, because so many of our government people will be there.
Both President Trump and VP Vance will be in attendance, plus most of the cabinets members and members of congress. If something were to happen there today, like a bomb, we could lose most (if not all) of our presidential line of succession.
Both AF1 and AF2 will be flying out and loaded with people from the DC government . It is great that they are having the memorial, but I am hoping that we have good security to keep everyone safe that is out there today.
