Charlie Kirk has been shot in Utah

After Senator Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul Pelosi was bludgeoned and left with a skull fracture, Charlie Kirk asked his listeners to bail out Pelosi’s attacker. After Representative Melissa Hortman, her husband and their dog were murdered by a right-wing fanatic in Minnesota, Kirk tried to link Gov. Walz and other Democrats to the murders. It sounds like he was an advocate of the very kind of violence that killed him.

I have security clearance.
I laugh when they play that card. I had two Presidential Security Clearances. The first was when I was a Houseman (Bellman in modern hotels) at the Old Faithful Inn in 1976, and the second when I worked at Jackson Lake Lodge in 1978. So I have always assumed that just about anybody could get one.

I don't really know the guy but no one deserves to end their lives like this.
Did they find the person who shot Charlie Kirk?
They are holding and charging somebody. but was this the guy? There are many questions and we may never really know or get the answers.

The "guy" who shot Trump in the ear in Butler PA got taken out and strangely his body was cremated within 10 days.

These political assassinations and even failed attempts often leave a lot of bizarre issues open.

This whole thing is looking more and more like some kind of set up or psyop, isn’t it ? People are questioning a lot of things about the narrative that we have been given, and a lot of it does not make much sense.
None of the pictures or videos show the shooter having the rifle, but it is an older rifle and not one that could be assembled easily and carried in the backpack. There are arguments whether he has the rifle when he jumps off of the roof after the shooting, but then it is left a short ways away in the woods, and assembled. Why not just leave it on the roof if he was going to drop it somewhere ?

The rifle scope looks like it is too far back on the rifle to use properly and not get a black eye when you shoot. The shooter changes clothes at least twice for some unknown reason, but wears the same clothes 2 days later when he is found at his home. The bullet that killed Charlie is never found, and there is no exit wound in his neck. The casings found where the shooter was at do not match with the rifle that was left.

The first guy they arrested (Zinn) was also in the news in 2001 when the towers came down, talking about that, and again right after the Boston bombing, so he was obviously part of this plan, and is maybe a crisis actor or something similar ?
There is a lot more.
Michael Savage has a video that explains a lot of it. I will see if I can find it on YT and post it here.
The thing that really struck me was Charlie’s wife, Erika, when she addressed the nation last night. She did not look like a totally bereaved wife, or like she has been crying and crying. She was smiling and laughing as she spoke.

And then she was talking about all of the tribute videos for Charlie, and this is what she said “this morning my husband was watching this video on TikTok….” And went on to show the video from some person mourning Charlie. I played it again, because I could not believe that I heard her say that, but even the cc words at the bottom showed her saying that her husband watched the video that morning.
I imagine that has been found and taken out of the speech by now, but I can’t be the only person who heard it last night.

Here is the video from Michael Savage. This is an 18 minute video, but worth watching because he brings up all the important points. Actually, he says everything important in just the first couple of minutes. Also….bad language warning.

Well, I haven’t been here in quite some time but I wanted to share this info from the New York Post. I think it clears up some things that were confusing me about this investigation. IF this is true (I think it is) then the motive is clear, at least to me.

Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin lived with transgender pardner: source

WASHINGTON — Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin Tyler Robinson was living with a transgender partner who was in the process of transitioning from male to female, a law enforcement source confirmed to The Post Saturday.

That individual, who has yet to be publicly identified by the authorities, is now fully cooperating with the FBI on its investigation into the fatal shooting of the conservative activist, the source added. The relationship was first reported by Fox News’ Brooke Singman.

According to public records, Lance Twiggs, 22, resided at the same address where Robinson lived. A relative of Twiggs confirmed to The Post Saturday that “yes, they were roommates.”

There’s a lot more at the link.

I don’t know about most of what you posted, Yvonne. I will say I have nothing but admiration and sympathy for Charlie’s wife. I’m not surprised if she mispoke about something. Last night was only her second night without Charlie and she said she had not slept. Having lost my husband (at a much more mature age and not in such a horrible way) I can confess to the fact that I was hurt, confused and probably didn’t always make sense for quite awhile.

I'm glad someone else besides myself thinks that. I mean, come on... A Conservative shot in Utah of all places? And assuming it is a ruse, the $64,000 question is... Who would benefit from it?

Absolutely horrible news :'( .

RIP, Charlie Kirk. I must confess, I never watched any of his videos (and if I had, I suspect I wouldn't have agreed with him on much, knowing where he stood on the political spectrum). But I do know one thing: it is never acceptable to respond to one's political opponents with violence. He absolutely didn't deserve this - and his wife and two children most definitely didn't deserve this.

My condolences to his friends and family - and I hope the murderer is caught soon, and faces the full force of the law.
Go and watch some. He is religious, himself, believes in traditional family values, the rule of law, but mostly he tries to get people into conversation, dialogue so they will think outside the box.

One of the theories about the death of Charlie Kirk is that he was shot and killed with a small firearm that looks like a cellphone. I watched the videos of the person that they think shot him with this weapon, and it does look possible.
There are so many theories floating around about what actually happened, and why normal procedure was not followed. There was no ambulance or EMT at the college at all, and the people with Charlie literally lifted him by the arms and legs and carried him out to a black SUV, while at the same time, other people were taking down cameras and other things that should have been left for police (evidence) to go through.
There was a camera directly behind where Charlie was sitting, and you can see the crew just taking that down as they cleared up the scene.
I doubt if we will ever find out exactly what happened, and maybe not even know why it happened, but new information is still coming out, so we will see, I guess.

I had heard the name Charlie Kirk before but had no idea who he was. Last night I watched a whole long video of one of his college campus Prove Me Wrong "debates." Folks are touting this as an example of someone trying to have civil discussions with those who disagree.

This seems to be a new thing lately. Experienced public figures debating kids barely past their teen years, in lighting rounds with an audience cheering. It's not unlike a sports event. It has even sparked some new vocabulary, like "Gish Gallup" and "Dunking." I can see why this was popular with his followers.

Even though I had heard about Charlie Kirk, and knew he spoke to college students, I had never really paid too much attention to him. Last night, I looked for more information, and he has been speaking to college students practically ever since he was a student himself, so this is nothing new for him. It seems like the students enjoyed interacting with Charlie, and the videos i did see, they seemed to be having a good dialogue back and forth.

This tragedy has really opened people’s eyes to the differences of what people are saying about his assassination; with so many saying they are glad he was killed, and his children left fatherless, just because they disagree with what he was saying and believed himself.

I read that he had told his close friends that he was really worried that he was about to be assassinated, so I would like it to be that he faked his death to prevent being actually murdered; but it is much more likely that he was shot and killed by someone who wanted him publicly assassinated on live television.

This sort of view bothers me a bit.

Such "kids" are legally adults in almost every way. We need to stop infantilizing them if we want them to be responsible adults.

Stevens T. Mason, for example, became the acting territorial governor of Michigan in 1834 at the age of 22. He was later the first governor of Michigan, serving from 1835 to 1840. After leaving office he moved to New York City to practice law.

Like it or not, and ignoring the irrelevancy of today's prolonged lives that we enjoy... biologically, human beings are middle-aged at 35 years. That has not changed. When a woman gets pregnant at 35 this is medically referred to as a geriatric pregnancy, though today they use more politically correct nomenclature publicly.

Sorry to overreact, but this is probably the source of many societal woes. We need to expect more of our young adults.

Good point.

Maybe a better term would have been inexperienced young adults. They also tend to be more passionate about their beliefs. I remember those days. lol

I appreciate the expressions of sympathy from those here who did not follow Charlie or do not agree with his beliefs. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that there are decent people so it’s especially meaningful when the good speak up.

I didn’t follow him as in listening to his podcast every day or going to hear him on tour, although I was very aware of who he was, what he stood for and what he was accomplishing.

When a crazy member of a political movement kills a person they hate they think they have killed his message. Instead they may have turned him into a martyr. Maybe, maybe not. It remains to be seen. I am frankly surprised by the support being seen in the US and in other parts of the world.

Charlie was remembered in Britain yesterday as part of that huge march of patriotic Britains who are trying so hard to save their country. They spoke of Charlie Kirk.

In S. Korea it is reported that people hit the streets. Charlie had visited there very recently and has a chapter of Turning Point there.

In the US the main memorial service will be held at State Farm Stadium in Arizona (Charlie’s home state) on September 21. That is the main service. He is being remembered in other venues and in other ways across the country.

I felt the same way about her, and hubby got mad at me for even thinking such. But things just don't sit right about her with me. Already campaigning to take lead of an even bigger Turning Point in same speech.
Then again I feel she loved him and of course her two children.
Things going on that we don't know. I honestly don't know what to think of ANYTHING now a days.

Something along that vein of thought:
The George Floyd debacle and the aftermath of violence throughout the country not excluding the memorialization of him by Pelosi and other politicians showed the world a side of the radical left that has hurt the Dem. party ever since.

Now, just as speculation, if someone fairly well known throughout the country as a proponent of the MAGA movement were to be associated, the thought might be that a violent strain of the Conservative right would create a similar uprising as BLM, Antifa and their cohorts did thereby making a clearer way for the Dems to pick up some speed for the ‘28 elections.

Alas, if perchance that was the plan, it came to naught but instead, brought out the worse parts of the left on social media platforms who openly approved of the killing then claiming their first amendment rights to do so whilst obviously decrying Kirk’s rights to do the same.

As a personal note: Do I believe that there was that much thought put into the assignation? No but I’m open to be proven wrong.

I had read that Charlie Kirk was very concerned lately that he was being targeted for assassination, similar to how JFK Jr. was, because Hillary Clinton wanted that congressional seat and was afraid she would lose to JFK JR. Many people still believe that he faked the plane crash and went into hiding with his wife, to avoid being assassinated in some way by the Clintons.

It is possible that Charlie might have tried to do the same thing, even though it would probably mean he would have to be in hiding somewhere for quite a while, if not for the rest of his life.
His wife, Erika, may be one of those people who can pull themselves out of the grief and carry on, just like Jackie Kennedy did after the JFK assassination, and I misunderstood what she was saying about Charlie watching a TikTok video that morning. I have not been able to find that video clip since then.
I would like to hope that he is alive somewhere in hiding and will somehow be able to see his family again, but it is way more likely that he was actually killed.
