Who had the bigger ego: McClellan or Halleck?

You only have to consider McClellan’s nickname, Young Napoleon, to get answer that question. He's been compared to Douglas MacArthur... Both had a widely known bad case of Malignant Narcissism and thought that their own abilities were better than their commander, the President.

Yeah, I don't think McClellan was anywhere near Napoleon.
 
McClelland was most often compared to McArthur. I guess both were good preparing for war, but not great at actually fighting one. Both were masters of the Public relations game though, and were thus perceived as great. Truman finally axed McArthur just as Lincoln removed McClelland.
