Who did you last speak too

It’s a close race really.
I talked to my wife 5 minutes ago, one of the cats shortly thereafter but alas, the last person I talked to was myself.
As I recall, it was actually a very friendly conversation which only could have been better if I was listening as well as when I was talking.

The last person I actually was talking with was Bobby, and both of us were having a conversation with/about Poodle, who was unhappy because he didn’t get a treat when he came in from the back yard.
I promised him that i would give hm something soon, so now he is waiting for me to stop typing and go make him a treat.

Most days, I have a great morning conversation with @Michael Darkforest , who is my son that lives out in Washington State. We chat about the weather, and how our gardens are coming along, and have morning coffee “together”.
I really enjoy our conversations, and look forward to them.
Sometimes, we do FaceTime so we can take virtual walks out around our yard and garden in the summer, when flowers are blooming.

That reminds me of the first time I ever saw someone talking through something like that.

He was in the library walking around apparently talking to himself. I thought he might be some kind of nut. But when he turned, I could see that he had some kind of device in his ear.

The last person I talked to was my son. He came over to see if I had seen any hummingbirds at my feeder yet. I have. He hasn't.
