Maybe you have a clogged ear; wax build up. Put a little perioxide in your ear and then a cotton ball to prevent it from running out for about 5 minutes. Sometimes blowing warm air from a hair dryer, on low, will help too.

I was losing hearing in my right ear as well. It came on gradually but noticed I could hear better turning my left toward the tv. I sleep on my right side a lot. Hubby had bought an ear cleaning kit. I had to use it a few times. In the end I found a tab of dead cells peeling off the wall of my ear canal. I grabbed it with a tweezers (not far in) and very gently pulled it out trying not to break it. Very impressed with the size. Hearing improved slightly. Kept using the kit every so often, following the directions....

I had this problem last October and drops helped. I was fine until last Tuesday. Apparently quite a few people locally are having ear problems so there could be an infection going around.

We are full of advice and opinions whether anyone asks for it or not. Maybe I should speak for myself instead of grouping everyone else in on my comment. I can always give my 2 cents worth... or dollar's worth; inflation.

I hope your ear feels better. Ear aches and clogged ears can hurt.

Been there! It seems like once you bite the inside of your mouth, you will bite it again and again. Errrr! After you do that a few times, then you become more mindful and careful, when chewing food. Salt water rinse can help heal it.

I have a Samsung Flip Z phone. After the last update, it opens to an advertisement webpage, instead of the homepage. You have to close that first. They claim it's caused by some app. I deleted those that were suspect, but it didn't work. I'll try again later.

I don’t know anything about those phones, but if they have a “settings” icon, you might be able to open that and find the way to change the opening page, like we used to do on the old computers.

Thanks Yvonne. I think it was an app uploaded by Samsung in the last software update. I found it in settings, like you said, and changed some things. It seems to have worked so far.

That is awesome, @Nancy Hart , and I am glad that worked for you. It has been almost 20 years since I had a flip phone, and I didn’t understand it back when I had it.
I didn’t want the iPhone either, when my daughter gave it to me, but once I learned how to use it, it was so much simpler to use that it is what i have had since then, and never looked back.

My kids love Apple devices, so when my daughter upgrades, i usually get her old phone, so I stay updated with them.
I mostly just use it for making calls when necessary, and for taking pictures, but I like that it syncs with the Apple Watch and keeps track of all of my health and exercise information.

What's bothering me today are outfits you are involved with, that have websites that allow you to communicate with them, but the people working there never read the email you replied to them. They end up calling you on the phone anyway. And you have to explain again, everything that you just sent in a carefully worded email (that you didn't keep a written copy of to read to them).

It might be the new AI app that is being installed on all Android phones. I hear nothing but complaints about it from users. It is allegedly tasked with collecting more personal information on the users to market to insurance companies and others. I think there is a way to remove the AI, but it will continue to try to re-install.
