What have you done today?

Laundry and a litttle bit of shoping

Assisted a bunch of customer over the phone with the payroll

I’ve updated my settings on cloudflare to my new server. I also went to the doctors earlier today for a check up.

Other than that, I won’t be doing too much today.😎

Today I had to contact my youngest son's school as he is having a lot of trouble with his mental health which is preventing him from going to school regularly. I managed to get a meeting with the principal for Monday so hoping that we can finally get things sorted.

I also had a electric safety check which has now been done so the rest of the day is mine :)

After hitting the weights yesterday for a Great workout at the gym, other than taking a trip to Lowe’s, today has been pretty much a rest day.
Weather permitting, I’ll hit it hard on Monday again and maybe come back here in the afternoon with a report on my workout.

I’ve spent a lot of my time today browsing a new forum and reddit & spending time with my family.

We had pot roast for dinner.

Today has not gone like we planned it at all ! We have a Sam’s Club delivery expected today, and FedEx is usually here in the morning, and then we planned to go to the fitness center and work out and swim. However, the FedEx drove on down the street, so now we do not know if he is going to loop back later, or perhaps not even bring the order until tomorrow, making us watch for it yet another day.

At least it is a nice sunshiny day, sort of warm, and Bobby has been outside enjoying the sunshine. It is going on three weeks since our old forum went offline, and no one has heard anything at all; so I am beginning to think that it is not coming back this time, and we just have to start over again. I wish we had some way to let more of the people know who were part of the old forum, but I only have emails for a few people, and I have already given them the link for this forum.

Well ! Looks like FedEx is here after all, so that part is good news, but it is too late to go to the fitness center today anyway.

Puttered indoors, minor cleaning, etc.

Then went out and hooked up a charger/maintainer to the car's battery. The battery is nearly 7 years old, even though a year ago it tested ok. However in the cold months I've been having to jump-start the car. I don't drive often enough, and only rarely over 30 miles these days. Add in all of the parasitic power loads on a modern vehicle and... well it just needs help.

Rather than betting on some long and pointless road trips to keep it charged I'll probably replace it next time I take it in. Then I can use the trickle-charger to help maintain its health and state-of-charge.

I put a few things in the garage before the snow (blizzard?) that is supposed to come tonight. Then I did a couple of loads of laundry, loaded the dishwasher and took out the trash. I'm going to watch a podcast and read a bit.

Wow! I am looking on my radar, and I see some areas that could get snow, but I have not seen a blizzard forecast. We have storms coming through Alabama tonight and tomorrow, too; but so far nothing that comes through here looks bad, although it looks like Mississippi could get hit with heavy storms. It is that time of year when you never know how bad they are going to be.

I didn’t do too much today. I went to the store earlier to grab a few things. I also made a nice dinner and lunch, then I did some posting on my forum & a few others.

I hope everyone had a great day!

Today is bright and lots of sunshine, 67F right now, but supposed to be 74 for the high today, so I am hoping to go out in the back yard and catch some sunshine again today.
My cardiologist is sending me to a pulmonary specialist to see if it is something to do with my lungs why I am always so short of breath. Even when I was a kid, it seems like I was short of breath easily, and I have never been a smoker, although I have lived most of my life around people who did smoke.
I was very premature, so my lungs probably never completely developed like they should have. Anyway, hopefully, I will have more answers once i get back home this afternoon after seeing the pulmonary doctor.
I feel great, and walking much better, but even walking out to the truck has me huffing and puffing for air. My oxygen levels are all good, so it is not that.

I recently woke up, made some breakfast and now I’m waiting for the arrival of my little brother.

He’s been locked up for the past 11 years, but he finally made parole!

I’m so excited that he’s finally able to come home to us and hope he doesn’t make the same mistakes that he did in the past.

Is your battery maintainer a float charger? I used to use one on my tractor battery in the winter as it doesn't get used as much then, but I have found that if my battery blanket is plugged in I don't need the charger, so I use it to maintain a charge on the small batteries--lawn mowers, etc.--that take out and store in the heated garage.

Good luck with the pulmonologist Yvonne!
