What Do You Do For Entertainment

My daughter was stationed in Germany for a while, and she loved it over there, too. I don’t remember anymore where she was stationed at, it was back in the early 1990’s. She loved the old historical buildings, and sent me pictures of ones she got to explore, or at least see the outside of when she was over there.
Now, she lives and works in the Netherlands, and she loves living there, too. So much history in Europe !
I love to read about Tartaria and the old buildings from that time period.

When Robin was living here, she took me along for her work one week when she was working in Orlando, and we stopped at St. Augustine and looked at the Star Fort there. Europe has a lot of the Star Forts, and we actually have quite a few here in America.

I can relate to that, @Axel Slingerland . Even though I grew up in north Idaho, I lived for many of my adult years in Western Washington. I miss being able to drive to the ocean and walk along the beach with my feet in the water, and just seeing the majestic mountains out there. I still have family out in the Seattle area, and I miss seeing them.

I forgot you grew up in Idaho, I grew up in N. Georgia, but I don't miss it, then I'm a gypsy at heart,:)

Did someone call me?

I actually preferred the term "Nomad", because my Dad used to have one. His was the stock brown and white.
