Trying to figure out what I might get people for Christmas. Usually I'm already done by now. Not that many to worry about, but it is always a bit weird and uncomfortable. I hate gift cards/certificates, but I never know sizes so clothing is pretty much out. And I hate to load people up with crap.

I did buy some 5 pound bags of roasted, salted chickpea snacks.

My water heater died and I needed a new one. Then my sump pump died and thought I'd have both replaced at the same time. But before the plumber got here I went to check things and found my sump pump was merely unplugged. I am saving all that money to replace it now.

Just shoveled after the plow came by, then dragged the trash bin in from the curb. Brushed snow off a solar panel. Put some salt on a bit of ice. "Pure Magnesium Chloride, Safer for Pets, Concrete."

Will be doing some cleaning myself too, shortly, to get it ready for decorations to be up a month.

We had to replace the well tank last year and it wasn't cheap, over $1000.00.

I vacuumed the whole house and moped part of it. Bending over to clean under beds has got me sore as if I needed more strain than pulled or torn upper thighs.

Came inside after checking for mail. Wondering if the email I just deleted was really from SSA or had a scam link in it that I passed on clicking. I'll probably log on the usual way to see if there is anything new there.
