I’m currently watching Chicago Pd and browsing a few forums.
 
I was just out starting a fire in the greenhouse woodstove to keep the temperature above freezing. We have a few tomatoes plants out there and I don't want to lose them. It was supposed to be cloudy and above freezing all night, but the National Weather Service is about as good as the USPS in doing the assigned job. They missed by a mile and it is clear and cold rather than cloudy and seasonably warm. Our plant sale was over the weekend, so there are not as many potential replacement plants around as the were a few days ago.
 
Just having morning coffee and staying in the house. We have had rain for most of last week and it is wet and humid outside right now. Got our grocery order from Walmart, and did the laundry. Not much planned for today.

I'm just waking up, dripping in sweat because it's 95° outside (90° inside), waiting as patiently as humanly possible for Mr. Coffee to do his job. Drip, drip, drip...
 
Still clearing storm brush and trees from Helene and raking up leaves for compost, raised bed and flower garden.
We can now see the sky in the forest we couldn't see before Helene.
Mainly getting ready for Fall planting. Pulling and raking leaves made us both sore. I rake the leaves onto a tarp, then pull the tarp to the yard. Lot easier than putting them into a wheelbarrow or wagon with a pitchfork.
We took chicken manure from pens to mix into leaves in compost.
