VPN

Yep, I have tried both an open and a closed VPN and like them both. An open network allows you to use the World Wide Web and surf to different sites. A closed VPN allows you to connect with only one computer, server or network and you can go nowhere else unless the computer you are connect to allows it. A closed VPN is considered by many to be the most secure connection.
 
It seems that the Imgur photo site has been blocked in the UK over it being threatned with fines over some pictures it might hold.

A VPN can get around this block.

Also can get onto American sites that block foreign readers (Mainly news sites)
 
VPNs are huge. I've been using Private Internet Access or PIA for nearly 8 years. I've never had an issue with it and I have actually set it up on my router so all my traffic is through the VPN, with a couple exceptions for programs that don't work correctly with a VPN.

PIA is pretty cheap for what it does, if you're interested in trying one out, see if PIA will work for you.
