Trump's Weight Loss?

Fortunately my A1C has never been that high. Sadly it has been ranging from 6.3 to 6.6 rather than dropping as I have hoped.

Activity level is of course very important. I used to bike everywhere, and never owned a car myself until I was almost 25.

I have always wondered about Trump's energy. He barely seems to sleep. He has always claimed to have done no drugs nor alcohol. The side effects of these new drugs do damage. I can speak from experience that it was relatively easy to do the healthy Keto diet recommended by Dr Berg on youtube and lose 35 pounds especially if one has private chefs and access to all the healthy foods.

I've seen reports that he regularly slept four to five hours a night for most of his life. As someone who did that for the vast majority of my life, I can understand that. However, I can't do it anymore, and I am nine years younger than him. Whether he still does that is anyone's guess.

It took me quite awhile to find this, but I knew I still had it somewhere. This is an article I wrote in 2019, just in case you're interested...

A1c: The Diabetic's Richter Scale
By Axel Slingerland

August, 2019

An A1C test (HbA1c), which is performed with a simple blood test, measures a person’s average blood glucose levels over the previous 3 months. Any test result above 6.5% is generally accepted as an indication that the person has Diabetes. Conversely, 5.6% or below indicates that you are either not diabetic, or if you are, that it is well controlled. The test results are a measurement tool for the risk of Diabetic Complications. The term Diabetic Complications is rather ambiguous as it refers to so many things, including possible damage your heart, eyes, kidneys, nerves, and feet.

Anyone familiar with Earthquakes should be familiar with the Richter Scale. It was the original measurement tool for the magnitude of an earthquake. It has since been replaced by the Moment Magnitude Scale, but for the purposes of this article I refer to the Richter Scale, in that each whole number on the scale represents a tenfold increase over the previous whole number. The relationship between an A1c Test and the Richter Scale is based on that.

If there were two earthquakes that had different readings on the Richter Scale, for example, the first might have a 4.0 and the second is 6.0. 6.0 is two whole number higher than the 4.0. Since each whole number represents a a value ten times greater, that means that 5.0 is ten time higher than 4.0, and 6.0 is ten time higher than 5.0. In other words a 6.0 is 100 time more dangerous than the 4.0, and the possibility of more severe damage from an Earthquake.

In a manner of speaking, the same can be said for A1c test results. Each whole number represents a ten times greater possibility of Diabetic Complications, and the higher the number, the worse those complications can be. These complications are more likely to occur with A1C levels above 7% for most adults, according to the American Diabetes Association. The higher your A1C levels, particularly if they're consistently high over an extended period of time, the more likely you'll develop complications, such as Retinopathy, Nephropathy, Neuropathy, Gastroparesis, Heart Disease or Stroke.

Talk to your Doctor. Diabetes can be controlled with medication, diet and exercise. Even just walking 15 minutes a day can make a difference.

For the record, I am not a medical professional of any kind, I'm just a diabetic who learned these lessons through personal experience.

I checked with Co-Pilot, and he said that he believes Trump is doing the Mediterranean Diet, or something close to that, which seems plausible to me.
I know I have read some bad things about Ozempic, and some pictures of people who take it look terrible, and it is supposed to affect muscles, also.
It apparently is derived from Gila Monster venom, so it is definitely not something i would want to be using, and I really do not think that Trump is using it either, but who knows.
Also Botox is another one that comes from a bacteria that produces botulism, and there are other medications that have venom in them as well.

Sounds more like it, I don't think Trump would take a drug to lose weight.
