The Story is in the Song…

"Give My Love To Rose was first recorded by Johnny Cash in 1957 and has since been featured on several of his albums, including “At Folsom Prison” in 1968 and “American IV: The Man Comes Around” in 2002. He even put it on the 1960 album “Johnny Cash Sings Hank Williams,” even though the tune is a Cash original and not one of Hank’s. This might be the saddest Cash story song out there, which is saying something! I hope you enjoy this version and, if you do, please subscribe to John Libby Records to hear more music like this in the future."

@Yvonne Smith , I named my donkey 'Rosie' after the donk in this movie, which is one of my all time favorite movies, first time I saw it was in 1965 on TV 'The Late Show'. We only had 2 channels back then, remember?
