The last thing you watched TV & Film

The last thing we watched on TV (our Roku device) was the rodeo in Houston last night. The channel is called The Cowboy Channel and we get every PRCA sanctioned rodeo in America.

The Oozing Skull, aka Brain of Blood, aka The Creature's Revenge (1971).

Hilariously bad schlock horror.

Amir, the benevolent ruler of Kalid, is dying, but there is the hope of transplanting his brain into another body. Freshly deceased, he is flown to the United States where Dr. Trenton, having unwisely put off acquiring another body until the last minute, transplants Amir's brain into the body of the disfigured simpleton assistant who failed in said chore. Dr. Trenton has a few nefarious plot twists of his own in mind, and then there's the thing with the dwarf and the woman chained in the basement.

Just started to watch..... The Judge from Hell..... Its a Kdrama about a demon sent to this world to send people striaght to HELL

Watch it and my daughter does as well, next day we talk about it over the phone.

Asked her what she thought about the first EP.

She said the violance against the girl friend made her sick.

In the second Ep the boy friend had the same amount done to him.

She said that violance was lovely to watch and she cheered it on.

Don't remember but it must have been goof if we watched it. One that sticks in my head was , 'The Man In the Chair'. A movie for the young and old.

Not good for you to watch. May make you feel bad.

Binging on Nikita, CW TV Series, on DVD. I watch it when I'm in a lot of pain and it hurts to do much of anything and I just want to sit and stare at the screen...

What kind of pain? Mental or physical? What is CW?

Physical...

The CW Network is a TV Broadcasting network. The network's name is derived from the first letters of the names of its two founding co-owners CBS Corporation and Time Warner.

Until a couple of years ago when they suddenly cancelled them all, they had a bunch of shows based DC Comics. Arrow, Batwoman, The Flash, Supergirl, etc.

The Prowler (1951) Van Heflin, Evelyn Keyes
A cop becomes obsessed with the wife of a radio show host

I recently got interested in what they call "Film Noir." The typical theme is a good person gone bad, resulting in an unhappy ending. Mainly because there is not much on TV on weekends, and Turner Classics features Noir Alley every Saturday night at midnight.

Low budget. Actors usually not as well known. I guess it's the plot. It's usually something different. Or a different twist on an old plot. I also prefer black and white movies. Color can be distracting.
