maybe you need a small drone for local reconnaissance?Two recent visits by the hawk. Once on the fence and once on the neighbor's deck. I hear a hawk screaming a lot. I think there is a baby close by, somewhere.

The neighbor's deck is less than 20 years old, and the flooring is already being replaced. Mine will be 43 years old in September and is in much better shape. Mine has 2x6 flooring. I suspect they used the thin 5/4 decking wood. Would like to sneak over there and check (but I won't).![]()

Good job!So far today, I changed a light bulb.
This required bringing the 6' step ladder upstairs. The globe for the fixture had become a graveyard for the flying insects that invaded the house this winter. Getting it down to clean required a wrench. Putting it back meant holding many moving parts all at the same time, for which I used painter's tape temporarily. It's back up and I didn't drop it.
