Summertime Life and Keeping Cool…..

Europe has been having their heat wave and now it has arrived here in Alabama where Bobby and I live. Bobby has the swimming pool all ready to use and he has actually been in it a couple of times already, but the water was still pretty cold.
With the 90+ temperatures, we will definitely be in the pool every day from now on, unless we have thunderstorms and lightning.
This is our little backyard pool. It is not really large enough to actually swim, but great for floating and getting cooled off.

It is past the middle of September, and we are still having temperatures into the 90’s !
We were actually out in the swimming pool yesterday, and we have never been able to do that this late in the year before. It has been really hot here all summer long, but with days of pouring down rain. The yard grew like a jungle, and Bobby has been busy with keeping the lawn mowed.
