The Plymouth colony was founded on Communism, not Socialism. The guy actually described Communism and called it Socialism. The Apostles also used Communism of a type. I believe it was in Acts that is was described. I think several of thee early American colonies were established this way as the backers back in England thought they knew better, just as Mamdani and others do who haven't lived under it. The failures are partly why the Founders were so strong on property ownership. Paul also found that lazy people loved the Communist and Socialist systems, and changed the direction Western Christianity was heading as the narrator described.
