Significant errors have been discovered in the 2020 census in the U.S.

After spending a huge amount of money on the 2020 census, significant errors have been discovered. Millions of people were not counted--~18 million I think--and large numbers were counted twice. This gave multiple states--mostly Blue ones of course--additional Congressional seats and electors in the Presidential Election (and Trump still won). To compensate, apparently the Census Bureau counted a large number of people twice. I know this sounds like Early mail-in/drop box voting but this was done by the U.S. government and is what they actually admit to doing. A LOT of illegals were also counted even though they cannot legally vote. I suspect this discovery is part of the reason Trump wants to conduct another (midcycle) census, even though it would cost a lot to do so. The census is supposed to be done impartially and fairly, and is to determine how we elect a President and how seats are allocated in the House of Representatives. The Census Bureau actually published this data, but there was such an uproar apparently that they have taken it down, at least I could not access it. I found it on a Congressional site and the link below is to that site.

Little effort seems to be made any more to monitor and moderate/correct political activity within the Civil Service, particularly at the vast level of Federal employees. Both policies and legal precedents have always been stronger at the State level, though on a State by State basis. The bad actors there of course include the usual suspects (NY, NJ, MA, CA).

So a Census distorted in favor of a political agenda isn't really news. However it would be interesting to hear how this will be addressed now that it is getting exposure.

Blue activists within the civil service apparently used Covid to violate the Constitution which mandates an actual count. Instead of counting everyone, the counted some and used statistics to calculate how they though it should be.
