I am a senior , originally from northern Idaho, but now enjoying life here in Alabama, where I do not have to shovel snow all winter long. I enjoy discussions about all kinds of topics, and hope to find other people who also enjoy chatting together.
My home forum went offline, and we have no idea if it will come back on or not, so I was searching for a small forum to join.

My seniors forum lost their servers, so I was looking for one that might work for me, and possible my friends from the other forum. I had registered at Offtopix, and found your forum through your post there.
This is a small , new forum, and more what i want than the large ones , so I have invited some more people , and hoping they check it out.

My username is short for Cape verde(the country)
My dad was born and raised there. He moved to the United States at 16 then met my mom when he was 17 and later got married.

He’s no longer here, so I use the name to honor him.
