Saving or Spending Money

What do you do most save or spend money?

I save money more than I spend money, always been good with money since my teenage years.

I save money and am a prepper. But with inflation, money seems to be getting lost anyway. Good thing I can live on pretty much nothing.

We try to save...but something always causes us to have to spend it.
The way things are going in financial markets...don't hv enough timeto remake what you lose

I used to save every penny I could get. I was determined to follow my grandmother's advice and retire at 40 while I was young enough to enjoy life. I worked hard, saved a ton of money (or so I thought) for retirement, then I fell off of a stage and ended my career as a guitarist / band leader. Hospital bills ruined my retirement. I was on Social Security Disability for the next 25 years.

Now, almost 30 years later, I'm on Social Security Retirement, and as I expected, I barely get enough to squeak by. But I'm still alive and kickin'!

I've been saving money since I was 6 years old and got my first allowance. Both parents grew up during the Depression, and I thought that's what everybody did. I'm trying to loosen up a bit, but old habits die hard.
