Seems the killer was Penelope Keith and it seems the Good Life crew where a Commie sleeper group.

I suspect many Americans are not familiar with "The Good Life" marketed in the U.S. as "Good Neighbors" I have the entire series on DVD. I think Penelope Keith was the nicest person in the cast in real life, although Richard Briers was a wonderful guy.
