I can't wait till we take Getty and Maisie down the river. Need the truck to put boat in. I don't let my van do steep ramps.
What fish do you have in the river @Jake Smith it looks very nice country
We dont have rivers where we live ,we’ve got bays and the ocean ….where I lived prior to meeting hubs in 1986 there was a river close by and we had nasty mosquitos everywhere ,as well as midges that would bite and cause extreme itching
The most known river fish was the Murray cod , however a pest fish called European carp…was introduced to the river to control some sort of creature ( I’ve forgotten what it was ) and it’s killed off most of the native fish being the Murray Cod .
Copied
Please remember that Carp are considered a pest species in Australia and highly prevalent in the River Murray. If you catch one, do not return it to the water. It must be destroyed and disposed of….. they can be used as yabby bait.

Brisbane river ( Queensland ) taken by me at 5 am this morning, this is about 1.5 km out of the city .
