President Trump's Address to the UN General Assembly

Observers are suggesting that Trump has "done a 180" on the Ukraine war. I'm trying to find out why they think so, and if he has... what changed his course.

I'm aware he is frustrated with Putin's spurning of repeated attempts to resolve things. But now he's saying Ukraine should not only take back occupied territory but to push even beyond that to take more.

Did Trump learn something in London that he hadn't been aware of? This does sound like quite a flip.

8Trump knows how to entertain: At the American Cornerstone Institute’s Founders’ Dinner Trump says he stopped war between Cambodia and Armenia, which are 4000 miles apart.

I do think we should give the UK Independent a little grace. I’m sure they are more than a little desperate for opportunities to make fun of an American president after constant opportunities with Biden. Even worse they are not allowed to criticize their own leaders especially on their most hot button issues like immigration.

I listened to the whole thing yesterday. It was embarrassing.
Regarding Ukraine? Ignore what he says. Watch what he does. So far nothing but whining.

I truly do feel for you, Nancy. I felt that for 4 years every time Biden opened his mouth, fell up the stairs, fell off his bike and, oh my, the time he turned from the podium and shook hands with the man that wasn’t there. I made it through and I hope you will too. 😊

I liked the speech as much as it’s possible for me to like political speeches. I was glad that Trump called out the worthless, useless, never effective, UN by pointing out that he was doing their job by stopping the fights between countries. Stopping some wars is a good thing even if he hasn’t stopped ALL wars

I also liked that Trump let the UN know that he thought stopping the escalator and the teleprompter was most likely deliberate sabotage. The Secret Service is looking into that but they should have been looking into preventing such things, IMO. There is a story out about UN employees heard planning such things. True? I don’t know so I won’t post it.

I don't what folks here think of this guy. I am sure there are opinions on both sides, but the first 12 minutes of this is an analysis, almost line by line, of part of Trump's speech to the UN a few days ago. I found it interesting.

Yes that was amusing, but the distance doesn't really matter. After all, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam is 9,000 miles away from DC, and even though "legally" it was only a "Police Action", it sure looked like a War to me.

We can pretty much forget about the remaining globalist fellow-travelers among us, they are resistant to redemption. At least the polling shows that they've been reduced to a small minority now.

They can still bankroll a lot of disruption. It seems there are enough gullible people who are willing to demonstrate for $100 a day--which one of the organizers admitted to paying demonstrators. He said demonstrations at night demand higher pay. I suspect the armed folks like were just arrested in Chicago really get paid quite well.

Meanwhile Trump idiocy continues:

Because of Trump's tariffs the China market for soybean farmers in America has disappeared. Not a single pound to be purchased by our largest customer. Right now, Washington is planning to send $20 billion of our taxpayer money to Argentina to bail out their president so he looks good before his next election. Right after this deal was announced, Argentina sold 20 shiploads of soybeans to China. The country that we are sending billions to just damaged the market American farmers needed.
