Post your Desktop!

I have not had a desktop computer for years and years. When the first iPads came out, my daughter gave me one, I fell in love with the iPad, and have never looked back since !
It might not be perfect for everyone, but I can do everything that I need to do online with my iPad and my external keyboard. I have one that is similar to the apple Magic Keyboard, but it does not connect direct with the iPad like the Magic Keyboard does, it uses a Bluetooth connection.
That makes it a little slower, but the new magic keyboards have the backlight set to automatic, and they do not turn on unless it is really dark in the room. I like to be able to turn it on manually, or have it always on, so I decided to get the look-alike keyboard instead of the Apple one, at least until they fix this.
Here is a screenshot of my iPad desktop. I change the pictures as the moods strikes me.

Love the icon layout, looks clean.

O, Those Eyes!.jpg

I like the desktop uncluttered. ( Unlike my house. ;) ) When I have time I may change to just a solid blue color without the wavy lines, like my phone.

I change it every week, but it's always the same person. This week:

I think you misunderstood. This thread is about the desktop image, not the type of computer it's on. I used to have a computer that ran Linux OS and I still had desktop images.

Currently, I use the Windows 10 Slideshow function to change photos every minute and (at the moment) there are 110 images in the folder that images are selected from. (I don't know if there is a limit on how many images you use.) Those images are my favorites out of my large photo collection. Here's a sample for ya.

I didn’t misunderstand, @Axel Slingerland , I was just being “chatty”, for want of a better word. The picture is what my desktop looks like. It is just that I love my iPad so much that I can’t resist talking about it any time the opportunity presents itself.
I use photos from my files, just like the photo of the awesome sunset that you posted, usually ones that mean something to me personally. The one on my desktop right now is a high mountain lake in north Idaho, where I grew up, and went camping and fishing with my family in my younger years.
Now, my oldest son takes his sons fishing and camping up there, and he is the one who took this picture.

One of the very few things I really like about Windows 10 is that Desktop Photo Slideshow. Just since I moved to Edison almost two years ago, the main folder for my photo collection has over 1,000 images in it. On my old computer, I have many more. Lots of "Pictures of Home"...

Those trees are massive!

Those trees are massive!
Oh yeah. Some of the tallest trees in the word are in this park. That one that fell across the road and they cut a huge piece out of, if I was standing in front of that, I would not be tall enough to reach up and touch the top of the tree.

The Humboldt Redwoods State Park people who cut it to clear the roadway said the piece they cut out was 10' thick and 30' long, which is large enough to yield 36,000 board feet of lumber. My Dad was a builder, and I learned from him that it takes 6.3 board feet for every square foot of house. So a 1,000 square foot home would need 6,300 board feet to complete.

6,300 multiplied by five equals 31,500 which would be enough board feet to build a 5,000 square foot home, with 4,500 board feet left over for yer outhouse...

I knew how to copy my desktop on my old computer but have never done that on this new one. It's a hp about two years old. Can anybody tell me how to copy my desktop?

I just take a screenshot, @Sheryl . If you are not sure how to do that, you might have to look it up for your particular computer.

Just between you and me, @Yvonne Smith , I am not very tech smart. Don't tell anybody else. I'll need specific step by step instructions. :)
