Marie Mallory has passed away yesterday.

Some of the longtime members here will remember Marie Mallory and her husband, Jake Smith. Marie posted a lot of songs, loved working outside in their yard and garden, and also being out in the woods and cutting the vines off of the trees on the property.
Early this spring, she was diagnosed with cancer throughout her body, and given a very short time to live, with no possibility of treatment due to the advance of the cancer.
She has since been in and out of the hospital, and then into hospice care, where she just passed away yesterday afternoon. Since many people here will remember Marie, I wanted to post a memorial thread for her here.
This is the picture of Marie when she was young that Jake shared with us when he let people in our senior’s forum know that she had passed away.

It was such sad news of hearing of Marie's passing. She was a real tough gal! Marie is a real beauty in this picture and of others that Jake has posted over the years. She loved music. R.I.P sweet Marie.
