Continuing on with my old journal.
Most of you have read the old one, and know that I recently had another visit with my cardiologist for the heart failure. I had lab work done, and I am really happy that my heart is completely out of heart failure stage now, and my EF is at 63%, which is normal. The PET stress test showed no arterial clogging, and my kidney function GFR is now 57, which is almost out of kidney failure.
I believe that the low carb WOE and giving up grains (for the most part) has helped a lot with this. The books by Dr. Gundry and Dr. Davis (Wheat Belly) have really helped me to do better at modifying what I eat, although I am by no means perfect at this.
But at age 80 now, I am still doing as well as I was before, and getting better.

I am using the vibration plate every day, and my balance is much better now. I am more like walking, instead of the shuffling that I was doing last year, and that makes me happy, too. I can feel it helping my circulation, so I am sure it is helping the lymph glands to drain properly as well.

@Yvonne Smith More info on the vibrating plate. My best friend has similar heart and balance problems as you. She uses various muscle pounding devices, but maybe this plate would help her.

Everything went well with the pulmonary doctor. He said my lungs sounded great very clean, and the X-ray showed no problems. They had me do a walking test, and my O2 stayed right at 97%, even though I was huffing and puffing and could barely breathe before it was over.
He wants me to try an albuterol spray, and see if that helps clear my lungs. He said he can’t tell of they are constricted, but he said the albuterol might help if they were.
He scheduled a follow-up in about 2 weeks, so we will see what happens then. He seemed glad that I was swimming and even put that in his report.
So, my lungs are working good, heart is doing good, but even walking out to the truck has me puffing for air for some reason.

She is one of the people I had no way to contact, and there are others…….
We can only hope they find the facebook page and then come to this forum. The FB page is set up so that no one except Ken can make a new post, so all I could do there was add a reply to a post he started, and hope that people would find it.

One of the main reasons I asked people to use their SOC names here, was because you can do an online search, and the forum SEO will show results on the search.
When I googled “Yvonne Smith/forum”, posts that i made here come right up on the search; so anyone who searches for us by our SOC names would also be able to see where we are now.

I have tried everything that I know to find people , @Faye 2.0 . After we crashed the last time, and Ken was so depressed, I was afraid that the next crash, he would just give up completely.
He was the only one on SOC who knows anything about setting up a new forum. But we had to have a new place to meet, and someone had to find one, and try to round up all the lost people.
It breaks my heart that people we love are still lost; but I just do not know anything more to do to find them.
I am doing my best.

If you are on Facebook, search Yvonne Jones and you will recognize her photo. I wonder if Ken and Michelle will join here. I used to be up on setting up forums and did one for a medical clinic and research center 15 years ago, but I simply don't have the patience nor would want to bear the expense of what it cost for a dependable server. It is a lot of work. XenForo is a great program and easy to set up, but takes time. Yes, this one is really great and Smithy seems like a top notch guy.

I know on the ranching forum that the frequent posters are well over 50 and it is always nice when the younger members post.
