Iran War 2026

I don't think it will be a long war, but it may last a couple months. No, Trump isn't a madman. I suspect something may be done to Kharg Island in order to control the Strait of Hormuz, as even China wants the strait to remain open.
 
President Trump is doing a great job of handling this problem. He is a peace president, but sometimes, you have to fight to protect yourself. When he learned that Iran islamists were preparing to bomb our bases in the Mideast, he had to work with Israel to stop the attack.
It was not stopped completely, as Iran was still able to fire off a lot of their missiles anyway, but we were able to stop the worst parts of their attack.

Hopefully, once this is taken care of, Iran can have a free country again, and the Iranian people can have their government back, and the Islamist regime will be either dead or kicked out of the country. We are working with the person who is the rightful Shah of Iran, and once the Islamist terrorists government is stopped, they can have a peaceful country again.
 
The stock market has been rising and falling (sometimes dramatically) on what the president says about this "excursion" into Iran. I bet the fat cat day traders are making a lot of money on the ups and downs. Just call the White House after hours. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Fuel prices in England, UK are nearly reaching £2.00 a litre which is very rare for us.
Food prices are going up slowly as well. It's going to get worse..
 
It looks like our fuel prices have stopped going up, and might start coming back down before much longer. We have oil here as well as from Venezuela, so there really was no reason for fuel to go up here in the US, but it did anyway.
Once we take our troops back from Europe, they will have to keep buying oil from somewhere. Right now, I am reading that the oil tankers and other ships are going through the Strait of Hormuz, so maybe oil will come back down in Europe as well.
 
Unfortunately, oil is priced worldwide so despite an ample supply here in North America, the price of oil on the world markets determine everything. It is a bit like gold. Much of Europe gets their oil through the Strait of Hormuz but the governments there say it is not their concern if the strait is open. I think Starmer is concerned about that despite his Muslim backers and is trying to get a coalition of European governments to send what navies they have to the region to police the Strait. We'll see if that works.

I saw one mention that we were now sending oil form Alaska to japan to help them instead of it going to China. Originally oil form Alaska had to go to the U.S. only, but the environmental folks apparently got that changed and much of it was going to China to be refined and some was coming back to the West Coast. Japan may be now getting at least some of it as that was reportedly one of the things addressed in the meeting between Trump and Takaichi when they met recently.
 
We have rescued both of the fighter pilots who went down over Iran, and they are safely home. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth did and awesome job of coordinating the rescue mission and keeping everything under wraps. There were several stories floating around the whole time, which meant that the Iranian Islamic forces were reading the disinformation and not knowing for sure what was happening either.
They are saying that the rescue will probably be made into a movie , since it was so well thought out and done perfectly.

The nuclear weapons Iran had could have made it to Europe shortly. Not that that was there immediate goal. Iran could have shut down the Strait any time it wanted and held the world over a barrel, such as it were. The Islamic terrorists are all over the world and have been building up for decades chanting Death to America. They were within months of being able to use their nuclear weapons.
Fuel prices and food prices will stabilize after the short war. Look at it as Trump playing chess. Feel safe that he is finally cleaning up threats and corruption.

Behind the scenes, Macron is threatening to strengthen ties with China to retaliate against Trump, and one commentator said that the one thing that could happen that would be worse than Iran and Russia controlling Europe's energy supply would be for the Democrats to take Congress in 2026 and the White house in 2028. Western civilization would then be gone and Christianity and its values would go with it. Muslims are now out-reproducing Christians by more than 50% and are "invading" the Western world, forming political blocs throughout Europe and in many parts of North America, thereby controlling the decisions of the political leaders as can be seen in France, the UK, Spain and even Germany and Italy. The recent goings-on in Minnesota and Texas and other places show what can happen in the U.S.
