This is something that is just now really coming out in the news here in the United States. It is not just that we have a lot of these H-1B workers here taking American jobs, but they are now running American huge corporations, and they fire the American workers and hire Indian workers on the work visas. This means that thousands of Americans have lost their jobs just because they were American, not because they were poor workers, since it was mass firings and hiring.
This has also happened with the illegal Hispanics because companies can pay them in cash and pay them less than they would pay a legitimate American employee.
Even worse, is that they have now discovered that many of the H-1B people have fraudulent degrees, and this is for things like being a doctor. They buy the degree, and then come to America and become a doctor here.
I am pretty sure that the doctor we had might be one of these. He didn’t really do anything except be the head of the office. When we went in, he would welcome us, ask a few questions how we were doing, and then send us off to his nurses to take care of anything that needed to be done during the visit. When Bobby was having terrible Sciatic pain, all the doctor said was to get s soft cushion to sit on. He didn’t even try to find out what was wrong, or send Bobby to a specialist.
It is a good thing that neither of us was actually very sick !
Here is a list of some of the largest American companies that are now being run by an Indian CEO. This is not even counting all of the gas stations and hotels now being owned by Indian visa workers who’d have somehow managed to get loans to buy these businesses, even though they only have a temporary work visa in the US.
