How's your day been today

My day didn't start off the greatest as I woke with the same migraine I had gone to bed with. It eased by this afternoon though so I headed out to get a few things I needed and have since made food and cleaned up :)
 
Great day so far. Very warm and I finished the necessary yard work. My body hurts, but that is just part of my life so I don't count that against my evaluation of the day.
 
Stopped at the ATM, on the way to early food shopping. Stopped for gas on the way home.....too cold for the carwash. Our larders are full and our hearts are light!
 
I went to the eye doctor today for my annual eye examine. He has decided that it may be time to have my cataracts removed. Finally!!! I will have my consultation and another thorough eye examine Monday with the Eye Surgeon to determine if he agrees with my eye doctor.
I shouldn't be excited about having eye surgery but....yay.gif

It is no biggie and well worth having done. You will be amazed to see white again instead of a dingy whitest color.

Yes, you should be excited! You will see so much better.

Just remember 2 things. Don’t rub your eyes and put your eye drops in on schedule. :oops:
 
My day is dawning exemplary. Light rain and jacket cool and while that has delayed my walk, it shan't dampen my sunny attitude this fine morning. ;)
 
My day has been busy today, my son had his interview at the college and he wanted me and his sister to go with him. Other than that, I have only just been able to really sit down and get on with anything. Going to be another busy day tomorrow with a driving lesson and then I have to head out and grab a few things I need :)
 
Yesterday was productive considering our age. I planted 3 flats of broccoli, and my wife planted 2 flats of some flower...don't know which as I don't know flowers at all. We did some working the greenhouses getting them ready and we had an hours-long bonfire trying to burn up some of the waste wood that has accumulated. We went into town and bought a new garden torch as our old one somehow bit the dust over winter. I don't know how as we didn't use it all winter and it worked fine last fall.

Today hasn't bene so productive. We met a friend and went to see the newly-released Chosen movie. I hope to do some transplanting of herbs this evening. We'll see how that goes🥱

Sounds like you had a great day! Your mention of "bits & bobs" reminded me of a thread we had in a former forum. Great name for a thread!
