Fruitcake….. yes or no ?

When I lived in Auburn, Alabama, my band used to play somewhat regularly at the Delta Delta Delta house at UGA. We loved playing there. That was one of the few places we could get away with playing mostly stuff by the Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd and other similar blues rock songs. None of that Top 40 nonsense for those girls.

One time when we played there, they fed us wonderful southern fried chiken after we finished setting up and doing a sound check. KFC had nothin' on their cooks!

What do you think of REM?

Well, I don't really have an opinion one way of the other. Alternative rock isn't what we played. But you should have seen her squirm when a member of the band chose Athens, Georgia to say she didn't like them. The rest of us ganged up on her and told her to shut up. She says "But I'm from Tucker!" and we were like "Yeah, so what? Don't you know where we are? This ain't Tucker!"

For me the fruit cake is a yes; while we were grocery shopping, three days ago, I saw the ingredients for fruit cake, but way to prices for me yet; will go and buy them after Xmas, if there not sold out, for "sale" price, which is still overpriced.

These taste "nothing", like store bought.

Ive only had fruit cake once or twice but I enjoyed it. Needs to be a year long food.
