Favourite brand of car

Mostly Fords, currently a Subaru Forester

I have a breakers yard near me who only break ford vehicles, engines for sale etc.
That's why I love fords you can get parts from anywhere.

I've owned Fords, Chryslers, and Toyotas. But I kept coming back to Hondas.

I haven't had chronic issues, expensive repairs, or reliability issues. One of them even had its right-front quarter driven over by a drunk semi tractor driver in a parking lot once... and I was able to drive it home and later in for repairs. I kept that one 11 tears then passed it on to my son. The next I kept just under 16 years, when I hit a deer one night and the insurance company totaled it. I have one now coming up on 8 years old, but my mileage is low on that so it still appraises at 2/3 of its original cost.

I have had Fords, Dodge trucks and vans, AMC when they existed, and Chevrolet. The only trouble I have ever had was with Chevrolets and I will never own another. I bought a used van and a brand new truck. Neither ran properly and were terrible to get repaired. I will never own another GM vehicle by choice. GM did not stand by their warranties at the original dealer either. I traded the new truck in when I came to Alaska. Foolishly, the dealer thought the truck would be great since it was less than a year old. They had to send it to a dealer different from the one it was purchased from to get it repaired under warranty. I currently have an older Toyota Camry and an even older Dodge truck. I like them both and both run fine although both are quite old by today's standards.

Hyundai cars are starting to grow on me there getting better every time they bring out a new model.
Never used to like them but some of the SUV's they make look good.
I haven't seen their latest models, but their Genesis car reminds of the Lexus.

How are their latest models looking?

Don't see many Hyundai Genesis but they're nice to look at.
Have you not see one in person or don't you have them in your country? @Cpvr

Thats is because most of us are older and were into Ford or Chevy, I liked ford trucks and vans and Chevy autos.
We like dragsters in the 1960s 70s. Had a souped up 1955 Chevy with a 4 in the floor, 396 engine and a 456 positive traction read end.
1967 I ran away from home and got married to a boy from Daytona Beach, Fl. home of Daytona 500.Lots of hot rods there.
Fiest Nomad station wagon I reeved up engine at light front end came up off the pavement. My friend laughed so hard she was in floorboard.
