What are some of your favorite hobbies? Do you enjoy playing games, participating in sports, hunting, or perhaps something else?

Writing, languages, fashion design and playing keyboard. Been writing songs since I was 15.Gold Dress.pngMore Dresses.pngGold Bracelet by Me.png

It's designs. I'm no good at drawing.

One of my favourite hobbies and has been since I was young is gaming :) I still to this day love to chill out and shut off playing video games and I don't think I will ever outgrow that :)

I played softball up till 50, I loved playing ball was in a league since 1977. We moved to the property so no time for ball too busy setting up homestead.

Now mt hobby is saving trees from vines.

I had a few hobbies when I was younger. I liked to garden; both vegetable and flower. I was better at the vegetable gardening then flowers. I also canned or frozen almost everything we had grown. Now, I just plant herbs. I like to use fresh herbs in cooking.

I guess cooking and baking could be considered a hobby. At one time, I enjoyed making a variety of foods. I also made myself several photo cookbooks of all the food and baked goods I made over the years. I used to belong to a few food forums many years ago too. I still like to cook and bake, but not as much as I use to. Nor can I eat the way I use too because I don’t have the metabolism of a hummingbird anymore.☹️

I like to read, take a walk when the weather permits, waste hours on internet shopping, and hanging out on forums. 😊

Since I’m retired, I guess practically everything I do to create stuff on a steady basis can be considered a hobby for me.
So one….I like working with wood.
Two….I like building muscle.
Note: I tried to load up a couple of photos but alas, they are too large.

I tried loading photos from Imgur , and don't know how to make them smaller.

Now it is music and dance [if that's what you call what I'm doing now] grin.

Now and then we plug up the Disco light we bought years ago for party's and have a couple beers while listening to music , like Abba, Bee Gees, whatever.

It seems if the picture is a png. instead of a jpg, the picture is too big and will not post. I always save pictures to a file on my computer then resize them before I post them. I don't like looking at huge gigantic pictures. That is just me though. 🤷‍♀️

If hubby can't figure it out, I'll have to wait for a visit from the kids to resize pictures.

One of our biggest hobbies was powerboating. The "was" is because we just don't have the energy we use to for launching and retrieving it. And, we sure can't afford a slip at a marina. So, the boat, and all of it's gear, will be put up for sale. It's a 20' 1992 Celebrity Cuddy Cabin with the biggest V-8 that can be put into a 20' foot boat, with a inboard/outboard engine. It has served us very well since we bought it in April 2009.

Other hobbies:
Watching professional rodeo on a special tv network we have. PRCA rodeo has been a part of our lives, as very serious fans, for years.
Target shooting at a local indoor range. My wife is 77 years old and owns/shoots a 9mm and 380. She absolutely loves it!
Movie/Concert watching. We have lots of DVD movies and concerts. Classic Rock, Country and Motown.
Going into mountains to see wildlife.
Freshwater fishing, when we can. When living in Colorado's Front Range, we caught a lot of Rainbow Trout in one lake in a State Park.

Lots of hobbies in the past, but currently I am not doing any of them except playing guitar once in a while. I still have my woodworking and string instrument making tools, but no interest or reason to make anything. I enjoy shopping online for vintage USA made clothes. I don't buy as much as I once did. I have donated 7 out of 10 purchases to charity, but enjoyed wearing it all for awhile. All my clothes are USA made and should last me until I am 100. My shoes are USA made, but 2 years is all I can get out of them due to all the walking I do.

@Axel Slingerland Do you still play classical guitar?

I guess I'm kind of a bird watcher. The only difference is that I won't travel purposely to see nesting or migrating birds. I only observe birds that come to my feeders. Over the years, I kept a running lists of the different types I've seen. The list has been lost since we had a house fire, their probably were close to 20 different birds on it.
I've had my share of birds as pets, Canary, Finches, Mule (cross between a Canary and a European Goldfinch), European Goldfinch, Keets, Ducks, Quail for 1 day, and Chickens for eggs.
I miss hearing the song of the Mockingbird. People have complained about their singing because it starts 2:00 to 3:00 in the morning and goes to sun up. I enjoyed listening.Since we removed a few trees, especially the 30 ft Holly in the front bed, I no longer see or hear them.
A few days ago, I put together a new bird feeder that my daughter gave me for Christmas. Besides the normal seed that it holds, it has a place the spike fruit, it has a hummingbird feeder, the only thing it doesn't hold are the suet cakes, it's like an all-in-one feeder. That's not all it has a special feature, a camera built in, to photograph Birds as they come to the feeder. The photos can be captured on a SD card that I installed, or through the WiFi to your Phone, or computer. It's all ready mounted outside on a vinyl post. Another cool feature is that it comes with a solar panel, so you never have to charge the batteries manually.
I can't wait to photograph some of my Feathered Friends.

I have other hobbies and I will list Them at a later date.
