I walk and lift low weights to control B.G. It has warmed up so I'm about to go walking.
It helps keep my old smoker's lung going. if I don't walk, I don't feel good.
I think it helps me mentally too.
I walked 2 days ago and cleared some more vines too. The vines kill the trees, but once pulled out most recover if cleared in time.

I couldn't agree more. I smoked for 40 years. And after having covid and everything that came along as a result of it, I walk the length of the hallway in the building we live in pushing my wheelchair. It's about 100 yards wide, and I walk it twice. Then later if I'm up to it, I do it again, making the total 400 yards. If I don't do that, I can barely stand up. I wish my sprained knee would heal already... I sprained it when I fell in July, then made it worse when I fell again in August. But I've been extra careful and no falls since then!

Glad you have a place to walk and it does help to do so.Also hope your ankle heals soon.
