Elon Musk has already done a whole lot to help Americans and save our country from bankruptcy, and every day I read about more government waste that DOGE has found and put a stop to.
It is always in the millions of dollars, and sometimes billions of dollars that they find has been spent on wasteful things, like over a billion for a simple “Survey Monkey” type of survery asking whether people like a national park. (I never got that survey, so I wonder how many people they even asked about this )

Yesterday, Elon was on Fox News and was interviewed about the places where DOGE is finding corruption, fraud, and wasted money, and one of the main places is with Social Security benefits being paid out to illegals, and other people who steal identity and then get SS from that stolen identity.
Elon said that once they stop the fraud, American seniors who are legitimately qualified for SS pensions will actually get more money than we do right now. This would be wonderful once it actually happens !

"You WON’T Believe How BAD They Messed Up... | Victor Davis Hanson"

"For years, they told us the border crisis was inevitable. Twelve million illegal immigrants? "Nothing we can do." California’s financial ruin? "Just a rough patch." Soaring crime, failing schools, and skyrocketing energy costs? "Trust the experts."

"Now, even the architects of these disasters are admitting what we knew all along—they lied. They knew Biden was unfit. They knew open borders would overwhelm the system. They knew California’s high taxes and reckless spending would drive the middle class out. And they did it anyway."

"Victor Davis Hanson breaks down the staggering consequences of a state—and a nation—being deliberately run into the ground. The question now isn’t just who’s responsible. It’s whether we can ever fix what they’ve broken."

I just had a nap and during that I had a very frustrating dream.

Most of my career was spent in State government, a little with the Legislature as staff but mainly civil service. As I rose over time I found a pattern repeating: decision making and recommendations and plans often came out of committees of largely incompetent people.

Most of the members got delegated to such committees not through competence or experience, but because of what Jordan Peterson refers to as "agreeableness." So much so that this characteristic outweighed everything else about them.

In the dream I was taking down a presentation in a conference room. Gathering my stuff, picking up handouts left behind by some people, get A/V hardware picked up, etc. The next group shuffling in was a mix of people I knew and those I didn't, from all over the organization. They were arriving for the kickoff meeting of yet another new group that would be setting standards and policy around an important issue. An issue where (at least) those whom I knew were utterly superficial in their knowledge of.

Most of them were nice people. Not stupid, but completely unequipped to be making decisions. I assumed this would be yet another boondoggle driven by the sales branch of yet another government contractor.

Dream aside (my guts are still bubbling) this is how a lot of mandates get executed. Not just at the State level, I served in a number of Federally led interstate and international projects as well and it was no different. Don't get me started on some of the insane and wasteful crap that came out of meetings in Ottawa, Canada.

In an attempt to emulate Musk and his accomplishments, the European Space Agency or some offshoot attempted to launch a rocket from a Norwegian space port yesterday. It was a complete failure and the self-destruct mechanism on the rocket also failed, so it fell into the water and exploded. It is now the beginning of the whale migrations in many parts of the world, so I wonder how many large mammals were killed by the underwater explosion of that rocket. Following Musk is not easy, as many on both sides of the Atlantic are finding.

Elon Musk has retweeted an X post which says Joe Rogan calls out Democrats for paying people to show up to rallies and protest Tesla.

Same as the Riots after 2016.

Defund the police cries
Basically, this seems to be how the Democrats get people to come to any kind of rally or protest now. They hire people and then bus them to wherever they want them to be at.
They did the same thing for Biden and Harris when they were running for president in 2024, because in the 2020 election, Biden only had a handful of people turn up for any of his rallies if they did not bus people in.

Most of the BLM protests were hired people being bussed around to the protests, too. There were pictures on social media of the huge busses that were bringing the people in, and they had the BLM logo on the side. Phone info showed the same cell phones showing up at all of the protests, and all of Kamala’s rallies, as well.

Now that DOGE has stopped USAID money, the organizers are not paying the protestors to be there as long, or hiring as many of them, which is why we are seeing them show up and then leave on their paid schedule. As most of their money source is cut off, we may see fewer protests, but more actual violence, since they do not need to pay large groups for that, just send in a few arsonists instead.

This had become really offensive to the Oldtime Democrats , what are called Kennedy Democrats, because they are people who are truly against violence like they are seeing happen now , from the liberal activists. Many of them are changing over to become GOP, or just leaving the Democrats party and not supporting the violence that is being promoted.

It feels as if the same mechanisms are in play now within Canada as well. I'm puzzled at how anyone can get excited for a WEF takeover. I suppose it depends on whether or not you feel you've been a winner in the rise of Marxism.

That won't end well. Outlying communities in Ontario are already getting frustrated. They haven't forgotten how the Trucker Protests were handled. The entire country is run under a neo-feudal system. The oil and ag prairie Provinces are milked of wealth to support the urbanites of Quebec, Ontario, and BC.

And I understand Carney doesn't routinely reside in Canada. He had lived in Europe for years, but was called back to Canada to help Trudeau put though his Green agenda. True or not, I can't tell, but I have gotten it from several sources. Many of those who were brought into the U.S. illegally by the Biden Administration and a number of so-called "non-profit" NGOs are now fleeing across the border into Canada since Canada has invested almost nothing in their border security or their military. They felt no need in previous years, but that has now changed.

It looks like Elon Musk and Donald Trump are disagreeing on the tariffs. Musk, in various tweets on X recently, has called Peter Navarro (Trump's Senior Advisor for Trade), "dumber than a pile of bricks," and a "moron."

Oh my God. I actually agree with Elon Musk about something? Actually, the pile of bricks could be smarter...
