Dogs And Cats Love Heat

Getty is reminding me of just how much. We read that Dogo's are very sensitive to the elements. They can get overheated in simmer and frostbit in the winter.
So, we got her a doggie heat pad that is controlled by the temperature. It wasn't one of the best ones but it seems to work ok.
Getty will run to Jake and show him the pad if it is put up.
Remember the space heaters we used , Mama had a dog that would be so close to it she would scorch her hair. and be smoking.

Poodle and the Kittens enjoy the warmth, too, and in the summer, they like being in front of the fan to keep cool. Back when the central heating worked in the house, and Chipper was still with us, he used to love to lie on the floor heater vent to keep warm.
I think that their favorite place is still my lap though. I end up with Poodle and three cats if I am in my recliner chair.

Kittens are SO much fun, and they would love to watch videos with you. My kitties intently watch whatever I am looking at on YouTube, so they are now learning how to make tacos and prune tree collards (chuckling as i write this part). Their favorite is the Cat TV videos, which have birds and squirrels flying, bouncing and chirping.
Here are the Twins, Simon and Garfunkel, happily watching the little squirrel on Cat TV, with my iPad.

Thirty four degrees last night, so "Getty" came in to stay warm; now she feels like, I'm never going back outside.



But "Foxy", is like don't even think you're staying in my house.
