Do you play sports?

I have never been interested in most sports, either to watch or to play the sport. I do enjoy swimming, but not as a competitive sport. Back when I was younger and had horses, I did enjoy riding my horse in the play days that we had with different games for us to compete in with our horses.

We had donkeys and the next-door neighbor's horse we'd climb under fence and sneak a ride on.
Mama said a horse were too dangerous for us, so she ordered us 3 donkeys from Sears Roebuck Catalog. We went to downtown Atlanta, Ga. to the train station and picked them up at small stockyard there.
She was raised a city slicker so she didn't know about equine.

I found this picture of the Sears donkeys for sale and wanted to share it with you, @Marie Mallory . It is a good thing I didn’t see that when I was little ! I wanted a pony SO bad, and if I saw that my mom could order a little donkey for me, I would have been happy with one of those, too.
Shetlands were really expensive back in the early 1950s, and could cost as much as a full size horse.

Yes I'm proof of that, I was there at the station with Mama when they came in. And my donk Katy really made a bronco rider out of me, a few decades ago we went to one of those clubs with a mechanical bull and I was one of the few who never got thrown. Cody would be proud.
